Modding up a run through with Oldwind, there is so much more stuff available.  Sad this requires OpenMW 0.48 or newer as it is a very excellent mod.

    Is this compatible with .47?

It won't crash.  But since lua didn't start getting added until 0.48 IIRC it likely won't do anything either.  :)

OpenMW 0.48 or newer is required, I've updated the description to explicitly mention this.

From your example gif...When you switch from first to third person your crosshair stays in the same place. However, when I try this the crosshair moves significantly to the right when switching to third person. I usually have to stay in first person if I want to hit anything. Do you know of a setting or mod that helps to rectify this?

Hey, that's actually a known bug that I need to fix. But I added some cool alternatives to this one to the description, in particular Solthas' Combat Pack is excellent and does a lot of cool stuff.

Thanks for the quick reply ill check it out.

Btw, i just remembered a similar issue in New Vegas years ago. I used this mod to mostly fix the issue. Mostly i played around with the axis values until the first and third person crosshairs aligned in the same place. He does this in the video also i think. Hopefully this helps.

I can't seem to equip in order to use it. Am I not doing something right? To note I am using a bow. I click it then click on my body to equipt it, but nothing happens.

Sorry about the late response. You need to finish a short quest which results in you obtaining an item that grants the ability. You dould also do `player->additem "marksmans_eye_item" 1` in the console to give yourself the item.

Alternatively, you can use this which gives you bow zoom with no quest/item requirement:
      Advanced Camera

This one also has a cool implementation of a bow zoom:
      Solthas Combat Pack (OpenMW Lua)

In NCGDMW I can see "Marksman's Eye Level" as "Low". How am I supposed to increase it? Just by increasing the base marksman stat?

It's calculated from your Marksman skill and Speed attribute levels (source)

Wow! This mod is a lifesaver in my current game, having to squint at the screen and make sure the crosshair is in the exact right spot is tiring. It functions great (and a part of me will be bummed when I move on to a non-marksman player character lol) and will be a mainstay in my load order. Endorsed!

Can honestly say that nobody has put as much effort into a truly-vital mechanic like this modder, and that it's a must for ANY marksman!

Congratulations on releasing the mod! I've just recently noticed the gitlab repo with it and wished it'd be released soon. Here it is :-) Actual effect is as awesome as the premise was.
