Just a head's up; Beautiful Cities of Morrowind doesn't quite work with this mod since it moves Vivec every so slightly, so the map cantons don't line up with the game world cantons.
Not a big deal at all, just thought I'd mention it.
mwclevername, is there any chance we could get a version of 'Cantons on the Global Map' for mods (like BCOM) that move Vivec FQ slightly to the east (so it's centered on the straight line from Vivec Palace and Vivec Temple)?
Hi alexpublius — No. Vivec overhaul mods such as BCOM are too much of a moving target for me to be able to maintain alternate plugins for them.
Because of how the TES3 plugin format stores terrain data and global map images in the same place, this mod is incompatible with any plugin that changes anything at all about the terrain underneath Vivec. Vivec's cantons all have shadows painted onto the ground around them using vertex colors, which are part of the terrain data. That means that any plugin which moves or adds a canton and repaints those shadows will necessarily contain terrain data. Once the author of such a mod has finished their changes, they can add this mod's effects to their plugin file by editing its WNAM (map image) subrecords, as explained in this mod's description. But there is no way for me to support other mods without baking one particular version of Vivec's terrain into my plugin. That would force me to update my plugins every time someone makes even a tiny adjustment to their version of Vivec, and it would result in a lot of players sending me tech support questions about hard-to-troubleshoot load order problems.
If you're using Morrowind Rebirth, load this ABOVE to avoid terrain tearing. I imagine this would also be true for BCOM and any other mods that edit the terrain around the affected areas.

And if someone has this question:
It works perfect in OpenMW and it's 100% compatible with Tamriel Rebuilt and so on
It's perfect, thanks for this mod mwclevername OwO
I looked inside the mod, but it seems more complicated that I hoped xD
Could something similar be done for Mournhold style canton ?
Thanks much for the mod, could look like a little thing, but it’s so much better !
