Yes, it just replaces some meshes, (a digital skeleton that textures are mapped onto), nothing is being changed about how things function, so as long as all the file names stay the same, the only possible effect will be the ones specifically intended by the mod-author.
I have a question to ask, please. I use Westly's Faces Refurbished & Better Bodies 3.1 in my gameplay. Would your vanilla hair mod be compatible with those mods, or would it conflict with each other?
During the installation, you can click both TR and Vanilla (provided you have TR ofc), right? I feel like it is but just making sure it ain't one or the other
Thank you for this. I am trying to use Westly's replacer but also want to get rid of all that damn anime hair styles. Even though they don't get applied to NPCs, using a guard deversifier or the Random N'wa Generator mod does apply then regardless of load order. How could I go about using your mod and only the heads from Westly's but not his hair?
You can manually mix and match them. The simplest solution would probably be to locate the Westly's hair you don't like and replace them with one of vanilla meshes. Or mess around in CS, of course.

Found one more minor clipping btw - https://imgur.com/a/8qTjdAt
Edit: Fixed in 1.1 :)
EDIT: Gave it a go, though very few needed any touch-up. If vanilla hair was like TD's, I wouldn't need to make this mod, heh.
