I think the newest openmw 0.49 update has broken this mod for Julan, he never gets added to the companion list so I can't have him teleport with me when I use recall.
I'll do some more testing later today or tomorrow and see if there's a work around
Playing OpenMW and I can't get this to work with the Pack Guar you can buy near fields of Kummu from Vvardenfell druglord. Tried manually adding them to the companion list using console, which makes them work with almsivi/divine intervention, but using the companion teleport spell doesn't work and actually drops them off the companion list. Anyone have any ideas how to get this guar to teleport with me reliably? I guess I could try to find another openmw compatible guar mod but I like the simplicity of this pack guar that just stays or follows, I'd just like to be able to summon/teleport it.
Edit: I figured out a fix using persuasive speech, which has a warping script built in. Just click on the guar and enter StartScript PS_ProcessNewFollowerin console and he gains the warp ability of any PS companion. Good enough for me! If this mod ever expands to support creatures though I'd be happy to try it again.
Oof, edit again: Unfortunately this method has the side effect of having the guar warp inside buildings with me even when I told him to stay put... well I am officially out of options for making this guar do what I want. Maybe I do need another guar mod. :(
Nice mod, although a bit buggy. Works like 90% of the times. The 10% is when the companion iam teleporting turns invisible, or disapears entirely. Anyway, some random altmer offered his undying loyalty to me, so i decided to tp him to my household (Indoril mansion mod). Since the tp works only in exterior area and some exception interior areas (mournhold) i had to add one more exception in all the scripts, which was surprisingly easy. Figuring this out took me about 3 hours tho. I think it would be cool to include how to "add exception" in a readme file.
From what I've seen on the Attend Me posts, you can use both and disable the teleportation option of Attend Me. I definitely will prefer running both because while Attend Me does show their health and and whatnot and if they are nearby, the option to teleport my companions directly to me when outside from that spell is needed because I find certain companions are getting lost because I might be moving through the cells too fast or something.
Teleport spell has stopped working. Probably yet another bug from using this alongside the new Amazing Balmora mod. One of the houses is supposed to disappear for a certain quest, and I had a mark spell in that space. Probably broke something.
Anyway, I no longer get the dialogue no matter what I try. I've deleted and reinstalled the mod twice.
(A year into the future and) I've run into a similar problem but in Tamriel Rebuilt's Dagoth Urul region.
Basically, a work-around I've found was to first dismiss companions (not necessary but saves you the trouble of dismissing/regrouping later), save, disable the mod, reload, save again, re-enable the mod, and re-recruit the companions. The companion teleportation spell (and similar function when using Interventions and Recall) resumes functionality. I doubt it's a permanent solution but I can say I haven't had this problem in Vvardenfell, Bloodmoon, or Tribunal DLC so this issue may mostly be with mod areas. Or something.
I have serious problem with this mod and Emma's mods. If I have one of her companions and then recruit another of her companions, and then add both of them to the companion teleportation list, then one will forever be stuck in the list. Even death will not remove them from the list, their corpse will follow me after teleportation (along with the message "Your companion is dead.") Is there some sort of command I can use to force remove all companions? Otherwise the mod works fine. It works great if you only ever use one companion at a time, but breaks when I try to use two.
Using OpenMW 0.47.
Edit: It appears to have been a conflict or a load order thing. Fixed for now.
I think I'm having this problem as well. Thief Companion Constance, and Jiub from Friends and Frens sometimes just disappear when I return to the cell I left them in, and when I use Companion Teleport, it says "Your companion is dead." and they won't appear. I will try removing all companions, moving the .esp file up in the load order and trying again. using standard Morrowind.
I removed all companions from list, exited the game and bumped Companion Teleport to the top of the list and restarted. I then added my companions back and cast the Companion Teleport spell in front of them (exterior cell.) All of my companions disappeared, but they're still present because they attack enemies and I hear them speaking, they're totally invisible though and I can't talk to them when I bump into their invisible collision boxes. what is going on here?
Julan is a very special case. He has built-in support for my teleportation mods (both this and Improved Teleportation).
This mod shouldn't break him unless you're trying to add and remove him from the companion list like you would other followers.
He should be adding and removing himself at appropriate times for his story. Initially and at various points in his story, he's not willing to be teleported by your magic. If you force him into the companion list at those times it will definitely break things.
There's a chance his use of this mod is not working for OpenMW, but it could also just be that there are many times in Julan's story where the teleporting features from this mod are meant to be disabled.
Hello again. I'm having an issue with Publius Claudius. Basically, when I try to call him with my spell, it says I have one Companion (that's him) and asks me if I want to talk to him or teleport him.
Clicking either option does nothing. He apparently exists, but cannot be summoned...
This is the inferior version of my Improved Teleportation mod. It has many limitations and quirks. There could be any number of problems, but in all cases the only solution for this situation is to clear the companion list, go find the companion and add it back to the companion list. If the companion is left behind long enough that it ends up in a location not loaded into memory this mod loses the ability to access it. Sometimes just going to the companion's location will be enough to get things working again, but if not then removing and re-adding the companion to the list should work.

For the magic guild teleportation system, the companion teleport spell is needed but it only takes few seconds to use
ps: do not forget to talk to your companions first to add them to your companion list and also to ask them to teleport to you as soon as they can
