I found a minor issue with your Hlormaren overhaul. On the top of the stronghold exterior, the Dome isn't in contact with the roof meshes; there's a visible gap between the floor and the walls. Let me know if you need a screenshot.
EDIT: never mind, looks like it was already reported below. My bad.
I really like this idea The strongholds are in dire need of some love But every ESP gives warnings in wrye mash and the game crashes every time I get close to a stronghold I've tried all combinations in my load order but nothing helps
I know this mod is a couple years old but if you happen to see this I'd love a fix because it looks fire and I really want to use it Thank you (:
Hi!! Strange issue... never heard about that... Maybe the esps are corrupted? The esps have two uses: 1: seperate esps for all Stronghold and the second is a merged of all esps in one. have you used the merged or the seperate? perhaps all of them that cause the issue? I'm currently working in big update to all of my mods. this one will be next but I have some work again on the imperial forts for now.
I am teaching myself to use mods without any real prior knowledge both merged esp and separate esps (not simultaneously) caused crashes for me no matter how I switched them around after seeing your comment however I gave it another go just the same as before and behold! it works without fault... I have no clue
Thank you for the mod and I'm stoked to read that you're working on new mods and updates thank you for responding :) sorry about the false alarm merry xmas
ps: the compatibility with separate esps is bloody brilliant! wish more mods had this feature
Your changelog says you have a version 1.1 but the files page only shows V1.0 mods. are they the correct files or maybe just incorrectly labeled? just wondering cause my mod organizer won't stop saying they are out of date.
Tested out the Dunmer Strongholds (VO) version with multiple .esp files on OpenMW 0.46.
I did NOT use the following .esp files:
Dunmer Stronghold - Full V1.0.esp (the all-in-one esp) Dunmer Stronghold - Andasreth V1.0.esp (already had a overhaul) Dunmer Stronghold - Berandas V1.0.esp(already had a overhaul) Dunmer Stronghold - Kogorhun V1.0.esp(already had a overhaul) Dunmer Stronghold - Marandus V1.0.esp(already had a overhaul)
* Dunmer Stronghold - Hlormaren V1.0.esp causes a land tear when using the "Andasreth Stronghold - dungeon and exterior overhaul" mod (the mod "Justice for Khartag" was also nearby). I'm guessing that there is some stray Andasreth related edit in Dunmer Stronghold - Hlormaren V1.0.esp. * Dunmer Stronghold - Falasmaryon V1.0.esp - the rear (south side) of the main building has a small gap, this is most easily seen during sunny weather.
I've just check it now. For Hlormaren, there is nothing about Andasreth so I think that tear come from Andasreth Stronghold - dungeon and exterior overhaul" and the mod "Justice for Khartag"...
For the little gap at Falasmaryon I will fix it in the next update :)
Odd, the land tear doesn't appear when using just "Andasreth Stronghold - dungeon and exterior overhaul" and "Justice for Khartag" (I tested).
I only identified "Dunmer Stronghold - Hlormaren V1.0.esp" as the culprit after disabling & re-enabling groups of .esps from the "tested" group that I mentioned in my previous post.
After some additional experimenting, I discovered that the following load order seems to solve the issue: Dunmer Stronghold - Hlormaren V1.0.esp Andasreth Overhaul.ESP Justice4Khartag.ESP
Note: the other Dunmer Stronghold - XXX.esp files work just fine when placed last in the load order. Note: the Andasreth Overhaul.ESP and Justice4Khartag.ESP order also matters, the wrong order will cause issues with "Justice for Khartag".
Hmm, seem to have the same problem as hokan42 before. If I load 'Dunmer Stronghold - Andasreth V 1.0.esp' without anything else (except Morrowind, Tribunal and Bloodmoon esms), then I get a land tear just in front of Andarseth. But if I use 'Dunmer Stronghold - Hlormaren V 1.0.esp' BEFORE Andasreth, then everything is fine. Seems like both Hlormaren and Andarseth make landscape edits at the same spot, but when used simultaneously they compliment each other P.S. Exactly. 'Hlormaren V 1.0.esp' indeed makes a tear in front of Andarseth, which looks like mirror opposite of the tear introduced by 'Andarseth V 1.0.esp' Images: https://imgur.com/a/XOHy0jX
There are lots of conflicts between the French and the English version cause by the cells names. It's exactly the same mod but with the translate for the version you have.
Any chance for an update or patch for Patch for purists, many changes have been overwritten, like the dome of Hlormaren floating off the roof, in patch for purists, that is fixed, but this mod overrides it.

I swear this construction set is waaaay more responsive and straight forward than the GECK. The GECK always feels like modding in molasses.
See if that fixes the error.
