For anyone wondering, 'Quieter Doors - 50%.ESP' also includes the changes to rain volume, and also lowers the volume of the sounds Disarm Trap, Disarm Trap Fail, and Dock Creak. If using 'Quieter Rain - 50%.ESP' for the changes to rain only, the plugin should also be cleaned with tes3cmd as mentioned below (the Quieter Doors plugin didn't seem to need cleaning).
Just a heads up, this mod touches a lot of GMSTs, not just rain/door volume. I reverted them back to base value so it doesn't affect other mod's changes, but you should definately clean your mod if you get the chance.
This is a great mod, I personally thank you for having the two files separate in the data files because i dont personally find the doors to be that loud. But if you ever release a version of this with 25-30% rain sound i would be overjoyed. even at 50% the rain is so loud :)

But please....oh pretty please....can you make something to muffle the truly awful "tic" noise that happens whenever I click on anything in a menu interface? PLEASE?
I've got my sound effects volume set just one mouse-click above OFF to try to muffle that madness. But that costs me every other cool sound in the game that isn't music, footsteps, or dialogue.
Save me. I'm all about crafting and clicking alchemy items and scrolling up and down by clicking rather than dragging....but the *sound* is making me not want to click any buttons at all!!!!

with how often it rains in morrowind I cannot believe it took this long for someone to make the rain more quiet, I never noticed doors but the rain is deafening
