Hello I take your work on the Description, so I had a minor Conflict in ald velothi port whit repopulated water mod it I don't want to delete any of your mod only desactive or delete the NPC or the routes he had on ald velothi to khuul
Hi Hokan, if you're still in search of a solution, may I suggest using TESAME to delete the cell data for Ald Velothi in this esp. That way, you still get Mika's modified Khuul, while still keeping compatibility with PCAV. I tested this out in-game and the two mesh together fairly well stylistically. Hope this helps :)
I checked, everything seems to be fine. The model is displayed correctly and is located in the correct folder. Maybe you need to reinstall Morrowind? Or change the loading order? It's very strange that you have problems with my plugins all the time.
It's really strange that you have to do all these manipulations, because others don't have these problems. I hope that in the future you will not have any more difficulties with my plugins.
I have the same missing mesh as Tragonard. Checked the archive, and the "file preview" here on Nexus: vurttree03.nif is in fact missing. Possibly it works on your end because you have Vurt's Trees installed and the mod polls it from there; when it tries to pull it from the directory of your mod, it cannot find it. I suppose I'll have to download Vurt's mod to get it on my own... Other than that I find your work quite good, though it murdered my framerate in Balmora, so I had to uninstall that particular one. Please check your Gnisis mod, I put a request there and THANK YOU for all your efforts!
Edit: Hum. Now Vurt has a great many mods and I can't find which contains the right mesh. I'll try Tragonard's fix.
Is it starting to look creepy if I always download your mods 5min after you uploaded them? xD Anyways, this looks like another great one and I can't want to see it ingame. If I finally start with more playing and less modding... u,u
edit: And Innsmouth as an inspiration for Khuul which is cold, scary and kinda like this Dirthack town in Oblivion is a wonderful idea that should have made it into Vanilla Morrowind. I mean, they took a lot of inspiration from Lovecraft but not the one regarding the sea... which was one of Lovecrafts greatest fears after all.
Ahaha. No, not at all, it's not creepy. On the contrary, I am glad that we are in touch with you in this way. You know, I've been dreaming of playing for a long time too but I think this redesign of the cities will drive me crazy. So I get what you're talking about.
I can 100% relate to that. 10 years ago I used to make my own mods for Morrowind as well but I've stopped since I lost my entire data, still I remember it's impossible to stop. Now that I think of it, do you have any plans for Solstheim? I find Solstheim to be very cozy even in Vanilla settings. It gives you this "sitting inside with cocoa while a storm is raging outside" feeling. The only problem would be compatibilty with big overhauls like TOTSP.
Ah, I think I found an error when generating MGXE distant land whilst having this mod activated for generation, the problems being the 2 Vurt textures vurt_ThickLeaves.dds and Vurt_wwbark01.dds
Nevermind that, it was a Vurt texture but it's vurt_ai_leaves (sorry, the distant land generates for like 10min and I waited for it to give me the error again), I didn't get this error before installing this mod though, the texture is not inside the folders. Could it be the vurttree02 mesh, my nifscope tells me that there should be a texture like that for this file but it's missing
I'm gonna test that ingame, nifscope tells me that a texture is missing as well for vurttree02.nif (at least there is none in the texture folder corresponding to that), probably my game will crash after I get a glimpse at a forest of yellow exclamation marks lol I'll tell you in a minute
TES3Stream Warning: Model "Meshes\0MikaCT\KAV\vurttree02.nif" tex not found "textures\vurt_ai_leaves.dds"! Texture Load Error!: textures\vurt_ai_leaves.dds
Yup, that's the culprit, it's 2 trees in Ald Velothi - no crash for me but two trees having white blocks instead of leaves, hehe :D
edit (again): Vurts Ascadian Isles Tree Replacer? The older file 01 outdated is the one that includes this texture, the second version 10a doesn't use it anymore, perhaps the new meshes and the old texture files somehow got mixed up if you had issues with this tree before, I accidentally downloaded the old Vurt Trees when installing his mod as well.
[Putting vurt_ai_leaves.dds into the texture folder should fix the issue]
Of course I was thinking about Solstheim. But I think it won't be so soon. Because I've been playing too much Skyrim lately. But I like your idea. By the way, I'd really like to see some of your mods. You don't plan on putting them on the site? Or how can I find it online?
No problem, glad I could help! :) I look forward to the next town, after a few minutes I can tell this one is one of my favourites so far. (Big Lovecraft fan here, too). Now to continue my main story without modding, I keep telling myself that.
edit: I've just seen your second reply, yea Solstheim is such a nice location in both Morrowind and Skyrim and in Morrowind it's kinda eerie, too... I remember almost shitting my pants when I was young and this Draugr ran towards me in lightspeed, what a jumpscare. Oblivion Ayleid ruins couldn't top that. But I'd love a cozy version of yours of e.g. Skaal And as for my mods... I'd love to share them but they're all gone, at least my old ones (I miss my Dagoth music box). My hard drives got formated and I stopped playing and modding because of that for years until recently. My new ones are only roleplaying stuff and fixes plus some resources I made playable for my character like a Kiseru. I always doubted there would be a lot of interest in a *nicer* Camonna Tong of all things or of removing the necessity of joining the Blades - my character is a Dagoth and native to Vvardenfell but that's probably quite niche and doesn't fit *too* well into the vanilla main story.
Yes! Maybe a story for Khuul or Dagon Fel, they both have this Innsmouth vibe. Sorry, Nexus doesn't show your replies unless I reload the page so I answered to you by editing my previous entry.

I'm still looking for a good Khuul overhaul - so your mod looked interesting.
In my case I'm using OpenMW which doesn't have the .esp limit of original Morrowind, so extra esp files are not an issue to me.
Friends who has problems with the tree model so far ! Please try to download the new version, which I added the new model and the path to it.

Edit: Grabbing the texture from Vurts replacer fixed the problem.
