If anyone is having issues with the texture for the Vivec Mages Guild Exterior, its due to an error with a missing texture from Atlas called atlas_velothi. 0.71 was missing it, but you can fix this by grabbing the file from 0.65. Hopefully the newest version of Atlas fixes this issue also
If above your Balmora overhaul the fancy stav's window disappears with some sort of wonky floating remnant. If it is below the building is off kilter and there is a large seam in the doorway.
I made a personal patch by adjusting this esp (then cleaning it).
To follow up, this is partially compatible with their excellent Balmora overhaul. If loaded after Balmora, the mages guild doors are misaligned. If loaded before, there is a floating blue light and the 'mage guild window' disappears. Best solution is to load Guilds before and then disable the floating light (or remove in CS)
Perhaps something went wrong with installation, but maybe somebody here had an issue like this. I installed Project Atlas alongside this but for whatever reason I am having some objects that are just completely black. Even if I run the Atlas Handler it's not giving me a fix.
EDIT: I replied hastily and with a scathing review of this mod. I take it back and consider it of good, high-quality value! The Guilds is probably the worst by far as it repeats the motifs of the guilds far too much. The Mages Guilds has too many eyes around!

And segments, like in MG in Sardith Mora, do not align properly. Cool mod but done dirty, not endorsing, not recomending

i had to make up a crappy headcannon where the guild made some weird experiments to make the exterior look like that lol

Of course, Rethinking Vivec advertises it's very incompatible, but any chance for a patch?
It's going to be hard for me to decide who to boot. Hmmmm.
