That is not a fault of this mod. You are using FMI - Service Refusal and Contraband which makes service NPCs in the Legion alert the guards if you try to bring skooma or moonsugar to barter with them. My suggestion is to carefully read the mod description when installing mods. Especially when dealing with the big mods like FMI - Service Refusal and Contraband which has a huge impact on the gameplay.

Could you please do a version for OpenMW with the Lua scripts?

It's possible at some point, but it'll probably be a while.

Seems the mod Buying Game conflicts a bit with this mod in that it straight up allows the selling of contraband stuff which results in, upon accepting the deal, everyone getting agro with the player.

It shouldn't do that (at least this mod definitely wouldn't cause anybody to become hostile). But it looks like there's no point in using the two mods together.

This mod detects whenever you receive one of the specific service refusal dialogues related to skooma/moon sugar, and removes those items from your inventory (and re-adds them as soon as the dialogue menu is closed again).

From looking at Buying Game's code, it appears that mod prevents those service refusal dialogues from ever being triggered in the first place (thus allowing you to trade these items). So if you're using both mods together, this mod's code should never run.

Thank you. I like that my character can now think of the clever idea of not telling people about the drugs in his bag.

Oh. My. Gawd. This is amazing! Ever since the game's original release, I have been having issues with this. I remember playing it on the XBOX and having to pick up my towers of Skooma every single time I wanted to do something. Thank youuuu!

Really great mod, as it was very annoying and immersion breaking to just drop your drugs on the ground in front of the shopkeeper and guard to make it okay. Also helped me check whether MWSE was installed correctly.
I especially like how you still kept the dialogue lines in rather than remove them.
Now to find all the moonsugar I dropped and forgot about...

on top of being annoying, Immersion wise dropping skooma/moon sugar on the ground in front of a merchant to get service then picking it up afterwords is stupid. It is even stupider if a guard near by the merchant.
The last mod I tried that attempted to fix that issue caused my game to CTD when bartering with moon sugar in my inventory. This mod works fine and seems free of mod conflicts. Thank you.

I always thought when Bethesda designed this kind of mechanic with NPCs trader refuse to do business with PC, it seem they never put a thought into it. In the first place, how did a merchant can actually know that PC have illegal stuff in his bag? Unless the merchant is Telvani wizards that can use 'detect spell' hehehe... although it would be cool mechanic if only, that Morrowind many many Skills can be a good use for this like; having high Security, Mercantile and Sneak skills(heck I guess Speechcraft work too!) can automatically hide illegal stuff during transaction.
