Is it possible to set a hotkey to open the Quest Log directly, rather then having the journal open and then making two clicks? Amazing mod btw, endorsed.
This is such a life saver, especially with all these modded quests I have going on. I really like the hide quest features and if I want to check them, I can just hold shift. May the wind be on your back!
Having trouble with this mod (I think). I have "Always show hidden quests" turned on in MCM but completed quests are removed from the list. Doesn't matter whether I hold SHIFT or not. Am I perhaps misunderstanding how this mod works?
The mod only edits the colors of the labels in the questlist, it doesn't change the way that quests are removed from the list when they are completed. The "Always show hidden quests" option just allows for the quests you've hidden (i.e. shift-clicked twice) to always be shown as slightly transparent, instead of only when holding shift. The completed quests should still be shown if you click on the Show All button at the top of the questlist though.
This is absolutely essential to my modlist. After so many quests auto-depositing themselves into the journal, it always became such a hassle to determine which quests were of interest to the character. And that had to be done. Over and over. Skimming through dozens of names. RE-determining which quests were even relevant. Rinse and repeat. Solved at last!
It's also excellent for otherwise great mods which don't mark their quests as Complete (until I can get around to fixing them in CS).
Is there a nexus link for the required MWSE 2.1? Clicking the link immediately downloads a zip file. I only use a mod manager and I don't know how to unpack and all that. Every time I try I ruin the damn game
You'll have to install MGE XE and MWSE manually for them to work correctly. The latest version of MGE XE already includes MWSE, but it should be regularly updated with the included MWSE-Update.exe file. I recommend following this guide if you are new to modding, it includes instructions on how to install MGE XE, as well as a good vanilla+ modlist.
