Question about this; is the "magicka decay" setting based on something in the vanilla mechanics? What's the reason for that option?

Cool mod on my Nord, but I started a Breton character with Atronach and she can regen magicka with this mod. So now I have it turned off in the Mod Settings.

That shouldn't be the case, are you using a mod that alters the effects of birthsigns?

Year later here, but same issue. May be Breton specific?

No, its for all characters. I just tested on a high elf and a dark elf... Pure vanilla birth signs. Nothing touching them. Its not a major issue though. If you are playing a character with Atronach birthsign, just disable the player magicka regen and leave the NPC magicka regen on in MCM and thats it.

I can confirm an issue with stunted magicka of the Atronach birth sign. Obviously you should not be able to regen magicka but with this mod enabled, your character WILL regen magicka...

Hey, any idea why atronarch stone doesn't prevent magicka regen? Stunted magicka is there but apparently it has no effect.

Hey there, great mod. I'm just wondering if the magicka decay option applies to NPCs also?

I like this mod, but...is it *supposed* to regen the charge on enchanted items? Because it's regenerating the charge on enchanted items.

What else do you have installed? Nothing in this mod's code that should cause that.

Soooooo....first, after further testing, I owe ya an apology, because your mod isn't doing this.

I pulled your files out entirely, and loaded up a new game, and fargoth's ring (and presumably other enchanted thingies) are regenerating as I wander around or rest (or even just wait). I admit I assumed it was yours because I put it in there to make magicka regen a while ago, and then noticed the regen on the enchanted items (I've been so busy messing with how the game looks I've not gotten much into actually uh...playing lol).

Funny thing is, I now have no idea which of my mods could be causing this to happen.

I've got almost no gameplay modifiers installed; almost everything I use is just a game looks enhancer like TLAD or Glow in the Dhark.

If I find the culprit, I'll let you know, but for now, I'm flummoxed.

I've got Cheat Menu installed, but it doesn't *do* anything you don't tell it to do as far as I know, and I obviously didn't tell it to do anything to a fresh test game.

I'll go read line-by-line in the MCP/MCP Skunkworks check-boxes and see if there's a functionality in there for it to happen.

I would NOT expect Patch for Purists or Morrowind Optimization Patch to cause this as the latter is pretty much a looks fixer, and the former wouldn't be very pure if it caused magicka to regen. Crazy....

      *hangs head in shame*

I talked to some friends on discord . . . and they said it's *supposed* to do that.
In the game....enchanted items...they always regenerated. Unmodded. Normal.
It just seems "really fast" on stuff like Fargoth's ring because the silly thing only has 10 charges or something to begin with, so when it regens even one point you really see the bar go up.

I'm just gonna go crawl into my closet and die now.
Nevermind, your mod is just fine.
      I'm an idiot.
This was a "pebkac" error. (Problem Exists Between Keyboard and Chair) ;)

I can't speak to any Atronach birthsign related concers, but this is the lightest, best Magicka regen mod I've tried. The configurability is a major plus and a huge feather in its cap for multiple playthroughs and characters. Recommended!

Love the mod, thank you. I found a setting of 8% perfect in my conjurer playthrough, because you will still use potions quite often, which is exactly what I wanted. Endorsed :D

been trying to get this mod to run but every time I load in it doesn't work. No menu pops up asking if I want to activate the mod or anything. I went through the steps of unzipping the files and throwing them into my data files, and it's in there, but it still doesn't work in game. Am I doing something wrong?

You have MGE XE and the latest version of MWSE? There's no obnoxious pop-up message, if you installed it right there should be a menu for it in the MCM.
