Hi! It seems like a great mod but I had two issues. 1) It seems to affect the greetings of a lot of NPC, I couldn't get the default greeting of Ranis Athyrys, which meant I did not get the topic 'join the mages guild' at all. This seems pretty game-breaking to me
2) I was able to move freely in mournhold after character creation, not a big deal honestly

Hey! i love this mod, but im having an issue, i finally started the main tribunal quest to travel to mournhold, but when i got there the doors are sealed still. im level 15. have i missed something?
would this mod break (as in I'd get no dialogue) if I were to change race midgame? I want to do a child playthrough and have him grow up before coming back to reclaim his throne
Does anyone else have an issue seeing the courtyard from the princeps room? The plaza is fine, but the Courtyard seems to have a texture of the wall in the way
Are you use some other palace mods? Maybe some cheats? Replace esp with original one and test it also (MH). Perhaps some kind of conflict, or if you play on an old computer, it can also cause it.
As far as I remember in that place there should be a power wall from where a view of a certain part of the city opens. And old equipment (graphic card) may have problems processing and reflecting shaders, models, and textures.
So, I tested w/o mournholds overhaul and it was still present so I don't think it's a conflict with that at least.
I can't say I know what a power wall is, but that said I do have a somewhat older system. However, the window directly across functions fine, so idk.
Also, I included a couple more pictures for clarification. The broken window seems to work on the outside if you use tcl, however the back side of the courtyards castle texture is solid. It's also showing up in the CS this way, photo of also included in user images.
If Mournhold Overhaul don't change palace cells it will be ok to run them together.
It's Ghost Gate magic wall - you probably have problems with display at Red Mountain walls. For me it work perfect, I added my CS screen of that place.
Try updating the video drivers, it may work. If you have Ghost Wall retexture/replacer then delete it. TES3Merge may also solve your potential conflict: https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/46870
Actually, I'm wrong. About it all. lol I realized just now, because my driver's are up to date, I use tesmerge and tes3cmp merge, and while I do use a ghostfence repalcer my fence is perfect all the way around. I know what it is..
Mournhold overhaul is a retexture primarily but it also adds statics to the plazas, and I just stopped and thought about that. The ESP only affects the statics, not the textures right? Which means that when I turned it off to test it, its textures were still present even in the cs. That's the conflict. The new courtyard textures differ from the old ones causing the blockage.
I'm not sure how to fix the texture to make it work with Royal Chargen, so I might just put a wall there in the cs to cover it. The window across I can still see through though at least.

If it helps, I do use the Mournhold Overhaul which is a retexture. If thats likely the conflict, I'll just add a wall in the CS myself to fix it lol

My courtyard mesh had developed some unwanted additions that a fellow modder was kind enough to edit out solving this problem
