    Been playing with this mod for over 250 hours and it worked great, but now, after some mods update (namely after Tamriel Rebuilt update) it suddenly crashes when I try to travel via silt strider. Most probably it has nothing to do with the update, but well. End of mwse.log looks like this:

    OK, I tried to travel from other town and it worked. Guess there was an NPC nearby with light effect and it caused a crash?

      Lights in MW are very finicky, so this is entirely possible. If you are able to reproduce it again, please do let me know.

    Great mod, thank you! I do wish the light kept up with my character better as it drags behind me and illuminates the path ahead less - but still a big improvement. Thanks agian.

      The speed has been increased, so this should happen less easily now.

    I used an AOE On Target Light spell on my companions, saved and reloaded, now the light persists eternally.  The MageLight sprite does disappear when it's supposed to, but the light won't go away with it.  I tried to trigger clearOrphanedLights by changing cells with doors & coc, but the companions are still glowing.

    Thank you so much for making this! I've only recently gotten into Morrowind, and it's surprisingly dark a lot of the time! This mod is going to help me out a LOT in the future.

      hello, those files do not have any particle effects. Its for users with very bad pc.

    Yet another small but surprisingly useful tweak-ish mod.
    99.99% of the time my mid level rig was fine but a specific mission from Uvirith Legacy with a very large cluster of enemies totally tanked my fps. Serves me right for using an AOE light spell I guess.

    whoever is installing these mods remember to install magicka expanded BEFORE all of the MM - Enhanced mods it will crash your game when you cast them
    was installing lots of mods on a fresh morrowind install and made that mistake 
    i reinstalled all the mods and overwrote all the files that it asked for and it stopped crashing
    anyway 10/10 cant wait for more of these mods
    edit: nevermind i think its just an issue with my pc beeing low spec if i cast light on an npc it crashes but it doesnt crash in any other situation

      Hey mate - it is an issue due to a recent change in MWSE. I am currently working on a fix. Only this mod, Enhanced Light, should be affected. I hope to have a fix released later today.

      I'm trying to reproduce the crash but cannot on my computer. Can you trigger the crash and message me the mwse.log and mwse.dump files in your Data Files folder? You can also sent to me on discord on the Morrowind Modding Community discord.

    Perhaps a newbie question, but can this be toggled on and off before duration expires?

    Lets say I just want a quick light hover to check something quick then turn it off? Is it possible at all? Just wondering

      In terms of a "toggle button," no. This is a normal magic effect, though, so you can remove it using the normal methods of removing a magic effect. Casting Dispel on self or something along those lines should work, but I haven't specifically tested it.
