I really like this idea! Unfortunately, as of January 2023, the mod can only "remember" one region at a time. Once you travel out of a given region, your bounty for that region returns to 0.
I mentioned the current year in case someone's scrolling quickly through the comments without paying attention to dates. If they know a mod was uploaded in 2019, and a particular issue still hasn't been fixed by 2023, then they know that issue is probably never going to be fixed, and they can make a better-informed decision about whether they want to use the mod.
It would be nice if somebody could take this mod and actually make it work. I think it's a wonderful concept, but as it stands, it just doesn't function at all as intended.
I don't think it works if your bounty goes really high - it seems to reset it to zero once you cross any region border (and then return to where you had a bounty).
I'm not seeing Mournhold bounties displayed. Instead any bounty accrued in Mournhold counts towards whatever region I was in before traveling to Mournhold (Ascadian Isles, from Ebonheart, but if I coc from say Bitter Coast then it'll be Bitter Coast).

Edit: This only happens when loading a savegame where this mod has not been used yet. So maybe not really an issue?
"Compatible with Clear Your Name? with the caveat that you need to have a bounty in that region that's high enough to clear your name in other regions.". You mean doing something like.... killing a guard to pay a minor steal crime in other region?, if i remember correctly there is a console command that increases your bounty i dunno :p
Can't use this yet, since I'm on OpenMW, but in the interests of improving it as much as possible, both for everyone else now and for myself once LUA OpenMW mods are a thing, I have a suggestion. Perhaps have bounties spread to other areas over time, with shorter times the larger the bounty is? Because you're right, it doesn't make much sense that you'd get caught stealing something in Balmora, Recall to Vivec, and have Ordinators immediately know you're a thief. But it also doesn't make much sense that you'd stab someone in broad daylight in Ald'Ruhn, and four in-game months later the guards in Sadrith Mora still treat you without a hint of suspicion. Is that something that could be done? Because that'd be really cool.
Any way to make it so that once you go over a certain bounty threshold in one region, the bounty triggers for other regions? 1000 for example(murder). I do agree that theft assault etc should be region specific, but murder cases should show up in all provinces

Is that mod compatible with NullCascade's The Last Witness?
