My character will not turn into a vampire after 3 days. I don't have any vampire mods running and I looked everywhere for console commands and I can't find a fix...
Sorry for the delayed reply! Admittedly, I'd neglected to include in the description that the transformation into a vampire will only be complete after your character sleeps 3 days (or later) after the initial infection takes place. I'll update the description and the text within the mod to mention the sleep requirement since I'd admittedly forgotten all about it until just now.
If you still have the same character save and are still infected with Porphyric Hemophilia, try sleeping for any amount of time (either in a bed or outside) and see if that does the trick.
Ah dang, I was hoping that'd do it. Hmm, that is pretty weird. As long as your character rests (i.e. when it says "Rest" instead of "Wait") at some point after the 3-day mark then that should have been enough to do it. And on a new save too! Can I ask which vampire clan you selected for the initial infection in the menu that initially appeared on-screen? Also can I ask where you rested? I'm trying to see if I can recreate the issue on my end.
EDIT: Oh also, if you haven't already you might want to try this with the latest version of the mod. I updated a few things a few weeks back when I added the extra option to start as a werewolf. I *don't think* anything else would be significantly different, but I figured it'd at least be worth mentioning.
I selected the Aundae one and I was sleeping in Seyda neen on the bed roll. I'm going to test it out on the old version and I'll let you know how that turns out. :)
Oh yeah absolutely! I recognize that there are at least a few existing mods that already to this kind of thing, but I ended up making my own to fit better with my specific setup. For a while I figured it'd just be a one-off thing that I wouldn't bother publishing, but after some time I figured others might find it helpful too :)
