Using nerevar rising's drums made me listen to the main theme of the game with a complete different perspective. Not something easy after playing the game (and hearing the goddamned thing) for 20+ years. Incredible stuff, really. Congrats
It's enough to clearly say what the mod does and avoid unnecessary spoilers at the same time. As I said, if that's not clear enough for you, nothing stops you from checking it in-game or looking at the code, which is commented in a way that even an average guar should be able to understand it.
In two replies, you accused me as lazy, stupid and illiterate, over a simple question. Hope your modding skills aren't the same as your manners. Teach me to ask things on internet and expecting standard courtesy.
RFD: writes in the description that the sound stops in the correct moment Mod user: asks if the sound stops when it's supposed to RFD: points the user to the description (which says exactly what it says), or playtesting (which takes around a minute if done with the use of console), or source script (in which literally the first function is one that disables other functions after the Nerevarine nukes the Heart, and is commented as such) - three different methods which suit different kinds of players Mod user: gets upset
Long time ago I expected mod users to do stuff like reading the description/trying out a mod on their own, but frequenting Nexus forums taught me it's better not to have any expectations at all, so when I get a question which has already been answered, I point the user to its answer. And as you can see, users still complain over this.
"sound stops in the correct moment" That could very well just mean that the beating stops 1m farther than ghostfence is, you weren't clear at all, words and sentences can mean multiple things.
For me, it was clear that the phrase "stop in the correct moment" refers to the moment when the player strikes down the heart. The reason why I didn't assume that it refers to the moment when the player leaves Red Mountain is because there is another sentence dedicated to that piece of information already: "You can hear it even on the surface - assuming you are brave (or foolish) enough to venture beyond the Ghostfence..." (The sentence implies that the sound can only be heard beyond the Ghostfence)
There are not a lot of other "correct moments" when the heartbeat could stop. Definitely not when you are undressing for Crassius Curio, or doing Sheogorath's Quest.
But anyway, it has been explained here, so there is no point debating about it anymore.
Dumb question. More people need to be ridiculed for being dumb on the internet tbh. So tired of dumb questions, and the entitlement that comes with them.
@RedFurryDemon EDIT: Ok I found the cell where the heart is supposed to be, but the heart doodad itself is not there. Where is the f*#@ing heart?! (Also, why the f*#@ does what I assume to be the remains of the Numidium have a spine and ribs when its supposed to be a f*#@ing giant centurion, not anything organic?)
It adds such a spooky atmosphere - like, I like to imagine my Nerevarine unable to sleep in Ald'ruhn because of the sound of the heart. It's really neat.
This mod isn't working for me; just straight gets a RFD_Heartthrum.ESP didn't load error on starting Morrowind. Incompatibility with newer MWSE? or (I have no idea why it would suddenly break; just that it's not on here).
This is unsettling and perfect. Thank you for this! Also, your description was totally accurate and understandable for those of us who are well-versed in Morrowind!

Unless you mean the short "stop in the correct moment", which is not really clear.
