The higher the speed of the enemies and smaller the distance to you, the faster they will reach the place where they last saw you. Doors are no longer a barrier! Only teleportation will help you hide for sure. Cowardly and wounded enemies as well as non-humanoid creatures will not chase you through the doors.
New in version 1.1: Enemies now return to their places when the chase is stopped
New in version 2.0: Now the enemies in the interiors at the first entry into the battle will try to call in to help the closest allies. You will have 3 seconds to prevent them from doing this - to kill the enemy, knock him out (stamina below 0), impose paralysis or silence.
New in version 2.4: NPCs learned to open doors correctly and will not get stuck in them.
New in version 2.9: You gain additional sneaking experience when your pursuer stops chasing and returns to his seat.
New in version 2.11: The pursuers will spend time breaking down closed doors. Creatures with arms will now also chase through doors.
