Just tested this with Tamriel Rebuilt and a number of other overhaul mods. The only one I found that is slightly incompatible is the Inner Sea Woods mod that adds a forest to the inner sea south of Kartaag Point down to Seyda Neen. Even then, the mod is playable, there will just be some slight clipping between a boat placed by this mod and the walkways in Inner Sea Woods.
I would say that this is the second best pirate mod for Morrowind after "Booty Island." Excellent job! I especially liked that the pirates are liberated slaves, as a huge fan of Twin Lamps mods. I only wish there were more quests to do.
Thanks! I really appreciate your feedback! I haven't tried "booty island" but now I think I need to! I'm also a huge fan of the Twin Lamps and thought it made for a good tie-in, with this crew. I kept this mod short because my last one was too expansive and took many months to make, so I needed to do something smaller in scale. I also hope the treasure hunting will keep everyone busy, at least for a little while!
I just tried out the quests! Fun little mod with a neat back story. I'd like to go pirating with Captain Black Tooth on more adventures. Perfect theme for a search-and-find quest too. The detail in the ship is great. And I liked the inclusion of some custom responses for various topics; that's always good to see. I have a few comments after playing through the mod:
You should make it so the top part of your archive is either the Data Files or Bookart + ESP. That way your archive will be compatible with Wrye Mash for those of us using mod installers.
I think the treasure chests should be locked to at least try to keep low level characters from getting some of the very good loot in them right off the bat. Higher than lvl 75 lock. Or at least the ones which are not guarded.
The pirates should have a higher alarm level. As it is, they don't care much if you steal anything and won't defend each other if you attack someone.
The plank leading to the ship is floating above the rock. You should try adding a smaller rock underneath it to make it look more like it's resting on it.
Didn't notice many typos, just the "desertion" topic with the captain where he says "abandoned thier post". There is also an extra space in the same topic with Cooks-And-Cleans: "from this crew is unwise".
Once again, thank you for your valuable input! For some reason the plank was on the rock when I built this but I do see that upon running it, the plank is a bit off the rock. I'll have to correct that along with the typos. I may have to play around with the alarm levels because there are items you're going to want/need to steal for the smaller quest and I didn't want to have lower level characters getting destroyed. They are (kind of) nice pirates after all! I also put in multiple scenarios where you can frenzy most of the crew, so there's that. Thanks again!
