Hey great mod! I downloaded it today and added the armour to the correct NPCs in the CS myself so I could use it straight away, rather than wait for an update, but seeing as you were having a bit of trouble figuring out how to do it yourself I thought I'd save you the hassle and upload my version to Mega to share it here. It just contains the esp so you'll need the meshes & icons from the original mod. Feel free to add it to your mod as an update. mega.nz/#!gCwiFaZY!UA1Jb_IHSLCuyvOihhMMakVRFhoAeIuKuMEDFgAcfno
Thanks! I'll be able to check this out in a little bit. There's one thing I don't know how to do, and that's combine ESP files. Realistically I wouldn't want my mod to be 2 ESP files, so if you can help me get past that barrier. Unless I'm misunderstanding how things work!
This is a major help though, thank you!
Edit: Nevermind, I saw the file and it's still named the same. I was dumb and thought it'd have a different file name.
Edit 2: For whatever reason, this doesn't work at all. Even after leaving the area and coming back.
The armor won't appear on any NPCs you've already encountered in the game before activating the new ESP, as their inventories have already been initialised. Try a new game.
Yes Merlord is right, you need to start a new game to see the changes. I've just created a test character and placed all the NPCs I've edited in front of me and they're all wearing the new armour.
I know this is an old post, but this fine to use on a save. Just use the console to kill all the NPCs who use the Duke's Armor and resurrect them. Their inventories will reinitialize with the new armor.
That is what I was missing ever since I had played the Imperial Legion faction. But the 3 pony tail on the helmet is quite off putting, because that is what Daedric Face of Inspiration (armor file name daedric fountain helmet) already used that kind of pony tail.
I had seen some mods before this used the same type of pony tail on the imperial legion helmets, purple instead.
A single pony tail would be nice. Otherwise that is basically a copy and paste. Great mod btw.
I have no experience in editing .nif files; the .nif files were made as a resource by Alaisiagae, while I just added the armor to the database, gave it stats, and added it as a quest reward. I might go around editing and creating my own .nif stuff, but for now, my time is dedicated to Skyrim and writing my Morrowind quest mod.
It is an excellent mod. I appreciate that unlike most armor mods, in this set it isn't obvious that it is added by a third party. It blends in with the game world nicely. Also, it is a good idea that the player receives it upon becoming a member of the Order of Ebonheart. Something that should have been done in vanilla already. I agree with the other commenters, the only thing that you might consider to improve this mod even more is to give the set to some NPCs, so that the player wouldn't feel that they are the only members of this knightly order.
I have very much considered that. However, since this is my very first mod and I learned the very basics of the Creation Set only yesterday, I have no idea how to edit NPCs to that extent. However, it is definitely on the board.
Looks great. Have you thought about adding new armor pieces to Imperial Legion NPCs who carry the Duke's Guard Silver Cuirass? (Augurius Sialius, Duke's Guard, Matus Mido, Varus Vantinius)

I'll package it in, add it as a separate file. Thank you.

I appreciate the compliments, however!
