It would be dope if this was a FOMOD just saying. Actually it would be dope if I knew how to make a FOMOD myself hmm... research must happen at once! Also, does this work with Open MW? Just throwing it out there in case anybody else questioned it.

    The Daedric is awesome.

Which mod is the one with Crassius Curio? I'm looking through the LGNPC mods but can't find it.

LGNPC mods aren't recommended for normal playthroughs. Next update, all screenshots referencing quests from these mods are gatting replaced.

I was attempting to use your source files with GIMP to create my own, and I only get a white screen on the main menu.  I have a .dds plugin for gimp so I'm not sure what else I'm doing wrong.

    Edit: my resolution was incorrect.

We're reaching Hardcore Morrowind Fan levels that shouldn't be possible!

Seems like you have low standards.

I spent entirely too long trying to figure out what the title in the second image was, and I can only make out "Resdaym". I have no idea what that is.

    Great mod, btw

Apparently it's somewhat late but I answer you:
The title reads as Resdayn - that is what Morrowind was called before the Battle of Red Mountain. Check it out here:

Love this mod! Though for different reasons : I just converted your .dds files into tga files to turn them into splash screens! I have over 700 splash screens in my folder for them and it keeps growing! :D

So thanks for the new screens! Love the whole idea behind your wicked looking menus! Endorsed! :D

Thanks! Actually, I have a couple of splash screens to go with my menu. Once the collection is finished, I'll upload it here as well.

Here's a little trick for better understanding what the menu and journal buttons in Daedric stand for:

The buttons can actually be idle, active or pressed (therefore there are three *.dds files for each of them in the archives). So if you unzip and replace just files that end with "_idle" in their names (for journal navigation buttons) and files that end without "_over" or "_pressed" in their names (for main menu buttons) only, i.e. just idle forms of inscriptions, then all the buttons (in the game's main menu and journal) will be in Daedric, but hovering over them with mouse and clicking on them will display the English version of inscriptions by default (or in any other language if the game is localized and translated). In any case consider that in their active and pressed forms they are written in Tamrielic!

You are correct when it comes to partially unpacking the file: someone who wishes to havo only have idle buttons replaced can omit the _over and _pressed variants.

However, I have no plans of repacking the files to make this the default option, and in general, I do not care about making my mods more n'wah-friendly.

Hi, RedFurryDemon! By the way, thank you very much for this wonderful mod! Endorsed!

No repacking is needed at all, everything that is necessary is already in the archives, and is logically divided into them for selective installation: one for the journal navigation buttons, one for the main menu buttons, one with the textures for the main menu itself and yet another one with the source raw materials.
I just wanted to note that those, who doubt using your mod because of the unreadable buttons, can replace textures for the static inscriptions in Daedric only. So they'll get its translation while hovering over the button with mouse. Of course let everyone decide it for himself: should one replace all the textures, or just some of them selectively.
By the way, if, on the contrary, unpack and replace just files with names ending with "_active" and "_pressed" only, then all the inscriptions on the buttons in statics will be in the default language of the game, but when you hover over them with mouse, they will be in Daedric. Maybe this option will also have someone to like it more than other variants of installation.

I was about to report the problem with the scrolls' close button... but there's no longer need I see :)
Anyhow, is it just me or the take button could be raised a little bit? A really thin portion in the lower part of it is cut out.

Fabulous mod by the way <3 now the only thing missing is a compatible daedric font with numbers and punctuation...

Thanks! Source files were provided for a reason, you can go ahead and move the "take" button 1 px up - please note that it also requires raising "next", "prev", "options", and "return" (journal) for consistent look. The "recall" (close) sigil doesn't need to be moved. If you run into any problems, PM me here or ping me on MMC Discord. I will be extremely happy to update my mod with such a fix.

I'd love a Daedric font with all the features necessary to fully replace both the dialogue and console font, I even ran some tests with how the game can be played in full Daedric. However, editing Morrowind fonts is a pain, at least at my current skill level.

Right, I'll give it a try, I've no idea how but I feel like trying. Simply moving stuff shouldn't be too difficult... I hope!

Me too, I've managed to combine daedric characters, numbers and punctuation into a single font and convert it for Morrowind to read, but the result is quite unsatisfying. It's not a hopeless endeavor though...

Hey, so I know the point of this is to bring in the local flavor (and thus the Daedric language), but would it be possible to get the Temple version with English text? I really love the texture, but I don't care to read in Daedric.

Your lack of interest in our writing disgusts me, outlander. If you can't bother to have four words on your menu in Daedric, I suppose you could try geting the .psd source file and combine it with the black widescreen version of Stripes' Menu Screens using color to alpha on it to remove the black background.
