Great mod for my game so far. I especially appreciate how it shows the importance of tweaking the lighting settings in MGE XE, for a dramatic effect. The atmosphere of the interior cells is really dramatically improved! :)
This has always been my favorite lightning mod, and honestly, In love with the override.lua settings for your lights in the MWSE mod for Let there be Darkness.
I was wondering if you could create an alternate override.lua files with your values but a slight bit brighter?
Or different ones?
Due to the ease of the mwse plugin format, the override file could contain as many settings for each interior cell as your imagination can provide.
All in all, my favorite light tweak over the years
I really appreciate an option to disable lights without a mesh. Bye bye blue waterfalls in Vivec's Quarters!
[Request] Can you make L hotkey for lightning values optional? It is a little annoying when you already have other mod that uses L key for something, and I do not see a option to change it in your mod
Wrong mod friend? :) I think you are talking about "let there be darkness"... In some ways, an upgrade of my "no flicker" concept, but thanks to Lua scripting much much better. And compatible with "distilled lights", anyway...if you prefere still candles.
the lighting introduced by this mod and the recommended settings is absolutely beautiful!!! the changes were immediately noticeable and it really improves the ambience of interiors, especially in places like the mages guild in vivec with the blue lights! everything feels more magical! i also love how it makes the carriable lanterns/candle lighting look <3 thank you so much ! endorsed
This mod is incredible! But i am having an issue. In the Dwarven runes by Balmora some of the floors and walls are pitch black with a light source out. if i put my light away and boost the gamma i can see the floors and walls but still a tad dark, which means the textures aren't missing. I haven't explored other areas yet. Is there a way i can adjust the mod settings, or a patch?
will it work on vanilla? I have an old PC and can't install some Mods I plan to install "Morrowind Code Patch" + better bodies + better fonts and this seems very good but I hope it won't make the buggy
This mod seems like pretty awesome work so far with the little bit I've played around with it. I really like the removed light flicker, I understand the idea of it but I've always thought that it was just way too pronounced and in general rooms seem to be much better lit without the flicker. I also like that it still leaves a little bit of ambient light as sometimes True Lights and Darkness was just a bit too dark. The one thing that I really like about True Lights and Darkness was that since it made everything darker and required you to actually use light sources like torches and lanterns it made them both a bit brighter and last a lot longer, so that you didn't have to worry about having to carry a bunch of them around with you all the time.
