So just to confirm this mod doesnt replace the boots but rather adds an extra item via the pants? When does the check happen to see if youre a beast or not? Is it also TES3MP compatible?
The pants do replace the boots so you cannot get both. The check happens in Pemenie's dialogue so you have to talk to her for the swap to happen. I haven't tested it in TES3MP. If you try it let me know how it goes!
This is also a major QoL mod for anyone who doesn't want to deal with repairing the boots and casting a resist spell to re-equip them after every single combat encounter. I'd much rather just go bootless with these pants than have to deal with that another 100 times
Perhaps, but keep in mind unless you make some changes yourself you can only get the pants as a beast race. I know some people would prefer them to be greaves for their personal taste in balance. I'm a bit nicer to my characters and think not being able to wear shoes or boots is punishment enough.
Tried this during my New Morrowind Mods stream, does what it says on the tin + very thorough implementation. I'd prefer if the pants were greaves for balancing purposes but that's just a personal preference ;)
