Made a Russian translation for this mod: Frostwind V1.54 1C No changes to the mod, only translation and script adaptation to Russian localization. Small demo video showing how it works in OpenMW 0.47: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KfVBGMcowk4
Just a heads-up for OpenMW users: the mod's description recommends KetGolosov's Tired and Hungry as a compatible needs mod, but this requires MWSE and is therefore incompatible. (Also, WanderRA's Bare Necessities is no longer available. )
For OpenMW 0.49 there's a mod "Basic Needs for OpenMW", not sure how compatible it is with Frostwind though. https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/53130?tab=description
Using this on OpenMW 0.48 (Android) and the icons are missing. Same with some of the icons for OAAB/Wares. Anyone experienced this or know what the problem might be?
how do I open the creation menu ?? I move the book over my character but the only thing that happens is the book opens for me to read, there is no menu for me to select the craft and etc.
I have this problem too, though it might stem from one of my many other mods. Is there a console command to manually deactivate/reset the Frostfall mod without the book? I've combed through the modfiles, readme and this thread but I've failed to find one.
I had the very same bug, when I moved the crafting book over my character it just keep opening as a normal book. Then I moved Frostwind down in load order, so it overdrive something that it has conflicts with, and the mod just started to work properly. Maybe it will fix your problems.
Do you have the mod Adventurer's Backpacks? That might have an instance of the crafting guide which would break functionality if placed higher in the load order.
It's a shame that ashfall cuts my framerate in half, it's the only mod that does this goes from 60 to 30, I wonder if it's a incompatibly problem or I didn't install the mod right. I any case this one works fine, maybe I can pair it with the "bare necessities mod"? I'll try
You may have been standing too close to the fire when the old mesh was removed, which can cause a collision based CTD. It's a known vanilla bug, although I'm surprised it persists in OpenMW. Try standing further away from the fire and avoiding colliding with it whenever it changes state (when you light it, add fuel etc).
