I tested a new save after reinstalling Morrowind and I immediately remembered why this is my most essential mod when I tried to simply quit the game. Thank you.
I love this mod but there seems to be a conflict with enableracemenu. I don't use it very often but every time I do, it triggers the exit for an instant CTD. With exit removed, it works normally.

Before this mod I would have to close morrowind slowly waiting around 5 secs before I hit exit and it still would freeze about 10 percent of the time... When It did close it took around 3 secs to close to desktop... Now the game closes instantly every time.....Its almost weird to not have to worry about closing the game... What a relief....Endorsed

This works great. Nice to finally have a smooth exit from MW. I use fast exit with FO3 and FONV; happy to have it here. MWSE installs are wonderfully easy. Thank you.
Doesn't seem to work :\ Steam says the game is running after I exited. Taskmanager is not showing up morrowindlauncher or morrowind either, so I can't shut it down through that.
Thank you for this great mod. It help me with a problem with Exit in my game and your directions about using the latest nightly build MWSE 2.1 also helped me with a a problem I had when I tried to save a second time. The first save would be 30 minutes of game playing (no problems) and an 1 hour later try to save a second time (the game freezes). This mod plus the nightly build MWSE 2.1 seems to have helped me with loading times in MO2 (I no longer crash before the main menu and I now wait about 25 seconds for it to load)
