Yes. Morrowind won't use the uncompressed textures by default.

Are you sure? It can't be true. GOG version have uncompressed textures by default.

GOG has the uncompressed textures, but the game doesn't load them since they're not in DDS format. You need them converted (which is what this mod provides) so the game can actually 'see' them and load them.

As I understand it contains only the textures of the basegame not the textures of the two addons right?

But even if so, I count here 3669 textures, while the Morrowind.bsa has 5187 textures....

Many Morrowind textures (including the ones from the add-ons) didn't have available uncompressed textures, sadly.

Wow, this is just fantastic. These uncompressed textures will be perfect for 1024 up-scaling techniques. They're admittedly usable as they are as well.

This is just amazing for someone like me that likes to keep things as vanilla as possible. No words!!!!

This is absolutely beautiful, thank you very much. Will use this as a fundament before I apply Morroinwd HD textures (your mod covers at least 225 textures more than any of vanilla HD remake that I found) as a baseline. Cheers and Kudos to you, man.

Nice to see that these textures found their way to nexusmods. I think I found them the same way as you: Looking for acceptable head replacer/face texture mods.
