    Please post any problems you have with this mod!

    Since the models use vanilla textures, it is possible that they don't play nice with your particular set of modded textures. If you encounter a problem, please specify what model and which texture replacer you're using (or send me the .dds file), and maybe I might be able to fix it.

    If you think I've missed something, or you think there's a way I could improve this mod, I'd be happy to hear your suggestions.
    A number of key models might seem a bit excessively detailed for such small objects, but these are usually keys that have only one or two instances in the game, and might be considered as unique objects/collectibles.

    I love this mod!

    But I'm getting missing icons for some of the keys! D:

    I re-downloaded and re-installed just to make sure. I did everything manually, so I know the file directories are right. Basically everything short of loading it up in the CS. Has this happened with anyone before?

    This was just the inspiration I needed to release my key namer. Well done on the models; will definitely make key collecting that much better. :D

      Your mod combined with my No Names version is a perfect alternative for people who don't like the naming scheme in my full version. Great timing :p

      No reason it shouldn't. I don't think Rebirth affects any key models, but load this mod after it, just in case.

      It should be compatible indeed. No changes are made in the actual game world. Only the key objects are changed. Besides, the keys added by Rebirth should benefit from this mod in a pluginless fashion. No bump maps or hacky scripts, etc. So OpenMW will work fine too.

    Can i use the textures in the Extras folder and are they an improvement to vanilla?

      The files in the Extras folder>Legacy Assets use the original mod textures from 2003. I wouldn't advise on using them, because this whole mod is aimed at improving those original assets. I only included them for people who'd still prefer those old textures for some reason.

    - Add collision boxes to the meshes
    for "Misc Item" no collision is used

      I believe the engine still makes use of collision boxes if applied, so it's still useful if added. Correct me if I'm wrong.

      It seems I accidently used a custom texture instead of the stock skull texture. The texture path in Key_00.nif should be tx_skeleton_skull.dds instead. Thanks for the heads-up. It's fixed in version 1.1!
