Working on a compatibility version with latest MGE XE. A temporary version can be found here: https://pastebin.com/mJfRXsWQ or at the Morrowind Modding Community Discord Server. This is just a makeshift version, so water color will be a tad too much on the blue side.
I know this is a bit old but MGE XE is a pretty versatile graphics extender mod found here on vortex, and its listed as a requirement in the description. I use it for the resolution fix, draw distance and fov changes, but it does alot more for weather lighting rendering all that, make sure to read the read me txt in the unpacked file. Though you should just be able to copy and paste the contents in the mw directory and run MGEXEgui to config it, even comes with an optional copy of mwse if im not mistaken but idk i didnt use it.
If someone (incl. the authors) is interested, I've adjusted the files to the new structure MGE XE 0.12.1 uses (with core-mods folder structure). Seems to be working fine.
so they are both the same just with diff colors? or is this blue green one fully updated? I too prefer the blue water, but wondering if I am losing on anything by choosing the pastebin version for the blue color over this blue green one
They seem to be essentially the same with the exception of color.
What this means for me is that I do not get the "square following me" issue with dynamic ripples enabled in MGE but I'm missing features that were included in the past (for example, I don't get ripples from the waterfalls in Vivec). As regrettable as that is, it still looks quite nice.

Do I access MGE XE from an in game tab? or is it a txt file I have to Edit? because I dont see it in the game options.
Krokantor's Enhanced Water Shader Updated
I'll maintain it from now on.
EDIT: This version is outdated as of MGE XE 0.13.0

The only thing I really dislike is how it looks when it's raining, but maybe that's just me.
