I swear to god. When I first stepped into Wayrest city, I kid you not I shed a manly tear. It is so flawlessly done that, it reminds me how long has it been since anyone has ever seen a decent sized settlement that has any hint of civilization about it, in any of the TES games. Ever since friggin Daggerfal, man. I don't care if this mod is abandoned or not but if you're out there somewhere, mod author, a huge kudos your way. Whereever you may be.
Man, I was working on a mod -just- like this, but I was shooting for slightly larger landmasses. Was called 'Tamriel Travelers'. I'm working on a spiritual successor for Skyrim that's just in Betony, Tulune, and Glenpoint currently - but I'd love to contribute a city or two, down the line.
Looks good so far! Grabbing this for my new playthrough starting as soon as everything I want has been installed. Just looking at this, SHotN should definitely benefit from the addition of another city even if it wasn't intended to be included originally. They're currently on the Reach, which means they haven't even really started on the areas you added cities to. So please help collaborate! Getting more modders on board is the only way we'll see these projects finished in our lifetimes. In fact, I wouldn't be half surprised if the moment Tamriel is complete, someone decides to start recruiting to add the whole of Akavir, Pyandonea, Atmora or even Old Ehlnofey. Then we'd probably be off to every realm of Oblivion, followed by Aetherius. Without more help, we'll never see this stuff complete, but I'm sure the OpenMW engine would be able to support it by then.
EDIT: Also, not much of a fan of train mods generally, but I'm a huge sucker for canon landmasses and anything relating to the Dwemer, so this seems like it has what I'm looking for.
