Hello MauiEyes, I am really enjoying your mod, you have done some great things with scripting and moving things around! I really liked that I saw the influence of the mod on the Dren Plantation as well and not just when some Dunmer appear in Gnisis - not every modder would have taken that attention to detail and backstory.

However, I find myself stuck in the Library at a part where no-one else in the thread has done so far - I go down some stairs to a room with 2 hostile clannfear, and don't know what to do next. I can't find anything to do in the room and all taking the helm off does is block the stairs off again. I haven't received any journal entries since "Weaver wants to be left alone".

EDIT: WOW. Okay. I was sure I'd tried that. Okay. Disregard. By the way, I had a look in the CS at the room I was stuck in, and the two crystals still have the Telvanni stronghold script on them. Because I'm at the stage of building my stronghold where they disappear at Tel Uvirith, these crystals weren't visible in the room either.

Congratulations. Incredible quest and fantastic design. The Library part is difficult, but the solution is at the same time simple and genial.
I've found only two little problems: the quests "The Slave" and "The Lamp" don't have their last indexes ticked with Finished, so they stay opened forever.

Hey thank you! Wish I had responded to this sooner. I appreciate it.

That's a great point, whenever I do the update I'll fix the indexes.

Thank you! That means a lot :)

I hope you'll be able to get to the end of it, from what I can gather, not many people finish the full quest all the way through after the wishing stages, likely because things get too hard. There's a whole parallel story involving the slave-hunt and the lamp that I hope you'll get to enjoy and complete, it wraps things up quite nicely. :)

THANKS! I agree with you. It's also pretty much a Twin Lamps quest as well, as you begin to get deeper into it.

The mod isn't not working for me. I am on gnisis but i don't see Llenessi Olarum he is nowhere to be found.
I am using latest version of openmw.

Hi, are you using any city mods? There's one I believe that is listed on here which will conflict with where Llenessi Olarum is. If everything is working correctly, she should be between the two other street vendors in Gnisis, sort of facing in the direction of the river. She has a stall with miscellaneous goods for sale.

The mod is fantastic, I have to say. Some of the puzzles in the library drove me nuts because I was overthinking them and looking too hard at the wrong things, though, particularly the second-to-last. Imagine my delight when the last was a classic logic puzzle I've heard in other contexts, albeit a very interesting and well-implemented one. Finally, a puzzle that I wouldn't end up overthinking the hell out of and scouring books that contained no real clues (or at least no further clues) searching for a hint! I think if you're going to make the library easier, honestly, you should do it by hiding more different kinds of clues as to what to do in more places, like the added books. Don't dumb down the puzzles themselves please, just make it so that people who have been scrutinizing the hell out of the wrong thing gets a hint if they look closely enough. That would be truly awesome. Myself, for example, I assumed a bit too quickly the clues would be found in the books, since this was a library from a wish for infinite knowledge, after all. I had so much trouble figuring out the second-to-last puzzle as a result.

Thank you so much! It's great to come back and read comments like these. I'm glad you liked it, and that you survived past the library! I agree in that I must have made the library too difficult. That is a good suggestion to add some more clues in the next update/patch rather than by dumbing down any of the difficult puzzles (it is a certain Daedric lord's test of your intelligence, afterall...)

In my next update, I do believe I will alter the overall later half of the quest in order to make it easier, as I feel people rarely finish The Lamp to its end, which is a shame because the ending is my personal favorite part and wraps up the story quite interestingly.

Heya, awesome mod. Love how the puzzles in the library are designed. ^_^
I'm currently stuck trying to get information from the slave hunter. tried bribing him, looked around the town but no luck.

By slavehunter, I think you mean Syvus Ves? Try raising his disposition toward you. You can do that through bribing, personality potions, etc. If he likes you enough, he will give you a task that will further continue the story.

Ok well I may of ran into a glich, I found the old womans house and she gave me a key and told me to go to the well to find the slave, but when I get to the well I can't find a latch or door or anything and every time I ask the old woman about the escaped slave all she dose is give me another key, I have 26 of them so far, so yes I'm stuck.

That key thing does indeed sound like a bug. I will have to look into patching that so it doesn't happen to anyone else. Thank you very much for letting me know!

It is possible that you received the key to early in the quest, which is why the door handle hasn't appeared (it won't be enterable until after a certain journal entry/quest stage has been fulfilled.) Have you gone back and tried to get more information from Syvus Ves in Gnisis?

Please help with the puzzles in the library (SPOILERS):

I finished the puzzle with the gears, found the key and the helm. After finishing the "mini-maze" using the helm and killing several ghosts, I returned to the main room with the bed. Here I am stuck: what do I have to do next? If I put the helm on, the bed disappears and some candles appear on the shelves (1 in the bedroom and 2 on the bookshelves). Lighting the candles doesn't change anything, I tried to check in the scripts in the construction set, but the only thing I understand is that behind the left group of pillars there is an exit that leads to the doors guarded by 2 dremoras. But HOW can I bypass those pillars without cheating with the "togglecollision" console command? I spent hours in trying to figure it out, but nothing....

      (SPOILERS)

You are so close. Yes, those pillars will rise out of the way when you light the candles properly (or light the correct amount of them.) This part should work as intended, I don't believe there have been any reported bugs or issues with the candles and the pillars. Here's a hint: your mask has something to do with it.

If that doesn't help, let me know and I'll be more specific

I have one small bug report.

This mod moves the greeting "Who's there?", which had previously been filtered in the Tribunal and Bloodmoon esms to not occur because the GetDetected function is buggy. The creates a problem whereby various NPCs (particularly some NPCs in the Vivec Mages Guild), greet the player by saying "Who's there?", even if the player is clearly visible in front of them.

I searched for the relevant record in MW Enchanted Editor and deleted it, and the problem stopped happening. The error doesn't appear to occur in mods depending on Morrowind only if the greeting is left where it is by default, right below "you have failed your oath of silence." It just happens if the greeting is moved it seems.

Just wanted to mention! Looking forward to playing more of the mod.

Thank you for letting me know Kogorn, that's a big help. I've added it to my 1.3 update notes.

Also I'll add that 1.3 will make the Library much easier, as the difficulty navigating the puzzles appears to be the number one complaint aside from bugs.

      Anytime!

FYI, this is a problem that can occur regularly in mods that depend only on Morrowind, rather than including Tribunal and Bloodmoon as well.

I can also recommend a little mod by ManaUser, "It's me, you idiot" (http://webpages.charter.net/manauser/morrowind/), which moves the greeting where it should be (right below "you have failed your oath of silence" ). Make sure that you load it as the very last in your load order.

If you use a lot of MW mods chances are that some of them will mess (no offence to author of this great mod) with that INFO record, and you'll get that stupid greeting half of the time you try to speak with NPC's. Also auto-cleaning programs like TESTool aren't very good at cleaning dialogue.
