OvEr 5 YeArs LaTeR I finally decided to give an exmaple of the mod in action...

Report any problems in the posts section (But pfff you won't have any...)

About The Mod

Are you tired of the loud and distracting ''Panting'' sound your werewolf makes when running? Can you hear the static in the background? Want something that sound sounds a little more natural? Don't want to hear any panting?  THEN THIS MOD IS FOR YOU!!!

How to Install:

Just simply extract the files into your Morrowind data files.

Will this mod delete my existing werewolf sounds?

This mod will NOT replace/delete any of the game's original werewolf sounds. It simply adds a sound file to your werewolf sound directory which will ONLY be activated when you have enabled the plugin ''L.A.W.B'' on your Morrowind launcher provided by this mod.

What are the optional files for?

The file ''L.A.W.B Quiet'' has an adjusted sound volume so the panting isn't as loud. In fact the panting is 50% more quieter (basically the sound values have been halved)

The File "L.A.W.B No Sound" Mutes the werewolf panting so you can't hear it.

Uninstall:

Go to your Morrowind directory and follow this path Data Files/Sound/Cr/were

Delete the sound file called ''L.A.W.B (Less Annoying Werewolf Breathing)''

Also delete the plugin in the data files called ''L.A.W.B (Less Annoying Werewolf Breathing)''

Credits:

The new sound file was taken from LogicDragon's Mod for Oblivion called The Curse Of Hircine - Resurrected

Recommended Werewolf Mods

Werewolf Realism
The OG and probably the best werewolf mod that's been made. Makes being a werewolf an actual viable fun playstyle and not an utter nuisance. Buffs werewolf form and human form along with adding some fair downsides to the "curse." If you find any bugs with it use the "Change At Will" version as I find that doesn't have any bugs. This great mod has been in my modlist for years.

Werewolf Evolution

At the very least if you dont want a total overhaul of werewolves, you should get this mod (another OG.) It adjusts the stats of your werewolf form based on your level and it takes into account your human form stats that are changed as a werewolf. Your werewolf will either be weaker, the same or stronger than vanilla depending on your stats. (Fully compatible with Werewolf Realism.)

Vampire Werewolf Fix
In vanilla you cannot play as a vampire and a werewolf without serious problems. (As in unintended glitches.) This will fix that. And allow you to hybrid like you were probably supposed to.

Werewolf Realism and Vampire Werewolf Fix Compatability
If you wanted to play as a hybrid with Vampire Embrace or some other vampire mod AND you have werewolf realism, Vampire Werewolf fix won't work properly. This mod will allow them to all work together without issue. After all these mods are installed you basically have a fully overhauled werewolf system. Opting to not immediately cure lycanthropy or even siding with Hircine in the Bloodmoon MQ can now be considered actually worth it.

Werewolf Retextures

The werewolf retexture I use in the video is SUPER out of the way and obscure/awkward/impossible? to aquire now. It's a subtle change on the fur and changes the eyes to more orange red than yellow. It was used in the very old Morrowind Graphics and Sound Overhaul 3 which is what it was originally called. There used to be a mod list which provided a link to each one of the mods included but I did this years ago and I have no idea where to find it now. The next best one I think is Emberwolf's Retextures it containts 2 choices. 1 black fur and red eyes option, the other a very nice arctic white and blue eyes option. it Used to be on the Nexus.

Final Thoughts

I have no idea if half of those links even work so sorry if they do not.

Finally this LAWB mod I made (at least in my eyes.) compliments all the other QOL and gameplay mods further and brings being a werewolf full circle into an actual solid and fun experience. And if you made it this far I would also suggest you always play Morrowind on max difficulty as I believe that is just the best way to play the game.
