Did we get a skooma/moonsuger update or? :D and btw can anyone turn these items in, or do I need to be in the Legion to do this?

You need to be in the legion.

To make him sound sarcastic every time he says "Where's your uniform"?

Never mind, sorry, I had temporarily disabled the dwemer bow / helmet assets. D'oh!

This is a great idea, thank you for making this!

Since the update I seem to be getting an error message at startup:

Object "CET_DwemerHelmet_01" not found for dialogue type Topic
    Info "EMPTY"
Object "CET_DwemerBow_01" not found for dialogue type Topic
    Info "EMPTY"

Any ideas what this might be about?

I got the same errors, and it didn't matter if the assets were in my Data Files folder or not.
Found the solution was to load DwemerBowAndHelmet.esp BEFORE Kindi's Illegal Items.esp.

Would it be possible to add Moon Sugar and Skooma to this mod? There is another mod called "Imperial Contraband" that does the same thing...

"This mod simply allows the player to turn in contraband goods such as dwemer artifacts or skooma/moon sugar and raw glass/ebony. Compensation will be received for doing so at 50% of the item's original value."

...but I can not get the dialogue topic "contraband" to appear in game, while this mod shows up with no problem.

Do you mean this mod and the mod "imperial contraband" isnt compatible?
or are you requesting for moon sugar and skooma to be included in this mod?
if its the latter, ill find some time to extend this mod, RL stuff is keeping me away from modding at the moment.
sorry for the late reply, ive been inactive for so long.. anyway, i hope you enjoyed this mod. thanks for trying!

Members of House Telvanni don't acknowledge the laws of the Imperial Guard. As such, wouldn't it make sense for Telvanni members to still be able to trade with you, albeit at dirt cheap prices if you're not a member, and more reasonable prices if you are a member?

In fact, this tidbit could also be juicy gossip amongst members of opposing factions. The Mages Guild in particular would insult the Telvanni's unscrupulous practices whilst dignifying themselves. Meanwhile, Telvanni members could remark on the Mages Guild's weakness of abiding by the emperor as nothing more than a group of lap dogs.

Im not sure I understand. No telvanni members are affected by this. Its only between you and the Imperial Protectors. You either give them the illegal stuff or keep it to yourself. Simple as that.

Would you be so kind to create a proper version WITH the dwemer coin and ornate dwemer bowl but WITHOUT the dwemer bow and helmet? I personally dislike the bow and helmet mod...

Great mod! I would recommend using the mod "Illegal Dwemer Trading", which can be found on the Morrowind Modding History site, alongside this mod. Makes more sense that you shouldn't be able to sell forbidden items to everybody, and that you could turn them in to the legion for a little profit as the good guy that you are. Good for rollplaying purposes!

NOTE: I tested the mod out and it seems like the modder forgot to add the Dwemer coin and the Ornate Dwemer Bowl to this mod. Looks like everything else is working though. Hoping for an update soon!

May I make a request? I wonder if you could make an optional patch for the mod "Dwemer Bow and Helmet", which can be found here on the nexus. It adds a dwemer longbow and a open-helmet. If it isn't too much of an hassle it would be very much appreciated! Again, great mod!

It would be cool if you gave some informations about the reward. Everybody isn't ready to download with so little info.

Gold. It says in the readme that the reward is slightly less than the base prices- of the items turned in, I guess.

Great concept, but what exactly are the rewards for giving them the goods instead of selling them? Can you also do this as an Imperial Cultist? You could make it so that anyone could do this. This should be 100% compatible with mods that make it so you can't sell these items in the first place, but have you tested to be sure? Very curious

      hi.. ^_^

I assume you have read to readme fully.. all the answers to your question can be found there..

regardless, this mod does not alter any npc, item, object..in any way..

there is only 1 startup script and 1 extra dialogue options..

the reward is gold, albeit slightly less than base price.. also you get disposition increase.

only imperial legion members can turn in illegal items.. this is a small immersion mod intended at first to be in line with the in-game dialogue that says dwemer, raw ebony, glass as illegal, therefore should not be easily traded with..

this works best with mods that makes the said items illegal to trade to most traders, except a few such as the telvanni and thieves guild.

with that said, it is compatible with any mods, provided the mods do not use the same dialogue option, which is extremely unlikely..

in the future however, i'll try to expand the mod the cover more features..

      \\have a good day//
