Oh no! (Yes?) An update! I have v1.1... Umm... How do I update it manually? Will I have to use Wrye and Mlox again? What do I copy > overwrite?

... and um, thank you for great weapons!

Well, to update manually, just copy the "meshes" folder from the "00 Data Files" folder into the "Data Files" folder of your Morrowind installation and overwrite existing files, but you can also do it with Wrye Mash. For the ebony claymore just copy the .esp (again, one is in English, the other in German) and the "icons" and "meshes" folders into the "Data Files" folder and overwrite existing files. You may want to use Mlox because the changed timestamp of the .esp will probably put it in a different spot from where it was, but I have no idea if Mlox even recognizes it. Anyway, it should be pretty unimportant where it is in your load order because the only thing that is changed from the original game is a single NPC, and unless a mod also changes the same NPC, there will be no conflicts with anything.

Im having a problem with a certain weapon in the game and Im hoping darknut knows a solution. The "Wizard Staff.... I currently have darknuts complete all weapons.(also now installed this mod too because dn complete doesnt have these)The problem Im having is that when I equip a wizard staff from my open inventory screen the game crashes. I can equip it using the change weapon key but once I draw the weapon I get a pop up error telling me the game was unable to load the at file or some such and replaced it with an error nif, so now I have the big glowing triangle thing covering my character when I have this staff in hand. The basic appearance of the wizard staff is like an ebony staff, but with the magic shimmer, in your inventory thumbnail. However, its a special staff for the mages guild.

I tried to google for an answer to this but i can find nothing. There is an art nif file of the magnus staff, and that other havosik or somehthing staff but nothing for the wizard staff. No wizard staff mesh exists. Im hoping darknut can help me figure this out since he is good at dealing with weapon meshes because I gave up on it.

Im not sure if this is a vanilla game issue or a mod somehow messing up the art meshes. Here is a screenshot that may help - http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=837486042

This has certainly nothing to do with Darknut's mod, that mainly replaces textures and does not really change much about the few meshes it contains, and the staff is not among them.

It is true, the wizard staff uses the ebony staff mesh, which this mod replaces. However, I do not have any problems with it. The error is certainly strange, though. Usually it tells the path and file name of the missing mesh, in this case it only says "art file", which makes me wonder if you are in fact using a mod that somehow changes the staff and maybe accidentally removed the reference to the mesh. I just made a test mod and the game crashed immediately when I tried to equip the staff, but the warnings.txt is full of this exact error. Please find out if one of your mods is changing the wizard's staff and could possibly have removed the art file reference.

Sorry I'm late... I see no reason why it shouldn't.

Not sure if intentional, but your Ebony Claymore doesn't ignore Normal Weapons Resistance. Easy fix, but thought I'd let you know :p.

Oh, thank you for mentioning that. No, it is not intentional. I should fix that.

Edit: Not sure if that's the reason or I really forgot, but apparently, when I used Enchanted Editor to clean and translate the mod again now, it removed the flag from the weapon and reduced its enchantment points from 160 to 16.
I never noticed these kinds of problems with it before, makes me wonder what else it might have screwed up for me in the past.

That claymore is a work of art--you should really keep introducing missing weapon models, you're perfect at it, it fits in seamlessly...and that war axe is something I have always wanted done...the flaws in the vanilla always irked me.

    Now please do silver!!!

Thank you so much! Silver is on my list, though I don't get ahead very quickly at the moment I'm afraid... anyway, I usually post new stuff in this thread first: http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1527420-wipzrelzpherims-improved-meshes-and-textures2/

I would like to finish the "organic" weapons first (that means chitin, bonemold, etc.) and also create new textures for the steel weapons - though I'm also not very far with those.

All these meshes are excellent -- there is simply no reason not to download. I especially like the wavy metal haft used in the mace and war axe. Endorsed! Really looking forward to what you come up with next!

It might be helpful to label the pics with which models are vanilla and improved. I can be a little hard to tell which is which without a lot of scrutiny. Otherwise excellent work.

The one in the front (or the lower one) is always the improved one. In the detail picture of the staff head it's the left one, as I hope is obvious.
