Just gotta get rid of the weird red hairs that dont fit the game at all and this would be a 10/10

Started a new game, and Jiub is missing his ears. Still got earrings floating around his head. More textures/meshes could be missing.

These hairs are for Dunmers Redone by Mackom, which has ears on the head meshes rather than as part of the hair like Vanilla & Most head replacers

How to get rid of the double ears on the dunmer? Please advise. This mod does not work for that. Already installed it, and the double ears are still there.

Maaaan, it's good. Your hair replacers + MacKoms heads are the best replacers i ever saw.
Are you planning to add bosmer and nord hairs, or you are not modding anymore ?

I wonder this as well--if there will be a Bosmers and Nords version of the hair pack. Is there another mod out there that does this fix but for Bosmers and Nords? Or do they not need that fix?

Your mod name is "Hair Pack for Dunmers Redone" however the archive name is "Hair Pack for Dunmbers Redone-43238-1-1"

    note the "B".

This might be an oversight or a political statement ?

Either way great mods! having LD hairs on HD Faces was very troubling!

What is the corresponding Texture file name for B_N_Dark Elf_M_Hair_01.nif? The name of the texture files has thrown me off a bit, and I want to be sure I'm using the right texture with the right mesh for the adjustment I need to make (just a simple fix on my end between two different mods). My best guess is WAR_DEx_HAIR_05, but I don't want to start messing with anything until I know for sure which files fit together. Thank you for any input!

I suggest using NifSkope to look at the mesh file's NiTexturingProperties. In the case of B_N_Dark Elf_M_Hair_01.NIF, this should be WAR_DEx_HAIR_02.dds for the actual hair segments.

The issue with Helseth and Berenziah comes from a missing texture named "WAR_xBRNZH_REF.dds" that is referenced by both dedicated nifs (b_n_darkelf_f_barenziahh.nif & b_n_darkelf_m_helsethhair.nif). An easy way to temporarily fix it is to make a copy of a different file under that name. I have no idea what the original texture is supposed to look like but the best result seems to be with a copy of Helset's crown (WAR_xHLSTH_CRWN1.dds) in the textures directory.

There's also a small issue in the nif file for Helseth, which includes a path to the texture ("textures/war_xbrnzh_ref.tga") instead of just the texture name in two nodes (16 & 24) but it doesn't seem to cause bugs. It should probably be fixed anyway if Mr.Magic updates the mod in the future.

Actually, someone release a fix for this with the following mod (using a texture from Westly's pack): https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/45771

These are for MacKom's heads only, which have ears built into the head model, unlike most other head replacers. The hairs are based on Westly's Head & Hair Replacer, so just install either that mod or MacKom's and it should fix the issue.
