no sure this is related to this mod. is this in tel fyr? what mod adds particles there ? this texture is used by targeted alteration spells with an area effect. the vanilla texture seems to not have an alpha channel, mine has a one but it's "solid"/all white.
try casting such spell and see if there is a problem..
so i conclude this isn't the texture in question or there is something wrong with the particle emitter. and even though openMW has some particle wonkieness, this seems more than that.
Would you consider making a non HD version of this mod?
I recently started using the Nearest Neighbour filter for OpenMW (Makes the not get blended in game so there nice and pixelated) And it looks amazing, I would love a non HD version of this mod to go along side it.
Would you consider creating a version with blurry/more smooth/less detailed textures?
This is by far the best spell visuals mod atm, however I find that some of the more sharp textures don't blend together as well as in vanilla.
Also in my opinion I think the large yellow particles below the player during conjuration spells should be changed to be more like the vanilla yellow fog effect.
sry no plans doing this. would like to do other stuff on this mod but not sure if i will... you could delete the texture "vfx_summon_glow.dds" to restore the vanilla effect on the summoning spell.
Anyone have any video of this? I can't find any good magic texture replacements that are close to vanilla while being modernized ya know? This looks like it could be the one. I hope it works for OpenMW?
Strangely, the effects have gotten really weird and stuttery with this latest playthrough. They used to play nice earlier and didn't affect performance at all. Something since then has changed, I have no idea what.
My Atronach Rebalance. It would actually be even better if I could combine your bubbles with Kurp's Spells Reforged effects, he said it was easy to do. But I haven't had time for that yet. I think it would look great.
