The way this mod is structured, by default it will put the textures (all those loose .dds files) in the Data Files folder, but they need to instead be manually put into Data Files/Textures folder

(lol I just realized this comment was from last year)

PSA: If you're using OPENMW and this isn't working create a new folder in the mod main folder called "textures" and put the texture files into the new folder. That should make this file work!

It's strange but this mod doesn't work for me either. .DDS files went to Textures and Meshes went to....Meshes. Installed manually and overwrote everything.

The only potion-related plugin I have is Potion Sorter, but that only changes their names. Otherwise, I have Ket's Potion/Beverage retexture and Poison Crafting. Could the latter be a conflict?

Breathtaking models and textures, regardless. This mod probably has the most unique looking potions I've ever seen.

The later couldn't be conflicting and if you're using Ket's retexture you'd see those and not the vanilla ones these would overwrite those textures. Poison crafting doesn't touch textures so it wouldn't be able to conflict.

Absolutely beautiful models that bring a new level of satisfaction to alchemy! Some new icons would be appreciated but everything else is remarkable!

Are you using a mod manager like NMM? If you are, do the following after download:
      - Create a folder calle Morrowind Mods
      - Inside Morrowind Mods, create a folder called AOF Potions.
      - Inside the newly created AOF Potions folder create another folder calle Data Files.
      - Inside this Data Files folder create two new folders called 'Meshes' and 'Textures' respectively.
      - Unpack the downloaded zip file and drag-n-drop the 'M' folder from the download to the newly created 'Meshes' folder and the .dds files into the created 'Textures' folder.
      - Zip the whole package you created with WinRAR, 7zip or WinZip.
      - Open NMM and hit the green "Plus" icon top left of the NMM interface.
      - In the small window that pops up, navigate to the folder that contains the zip file you just created and select it, then hit 'open' at the bottom right of the small window. This will import the files into NMM.
      - The freshly imported file will be sitting under "Unassigned" in NMM's mods menu. You can leave it there or drag it to another category or create a category of your own.
      - Select the imported file and hit the green tick underneath the green 'Plus' top left of NMM's interface and the mod will be installed properly.

Every manually downloaded mod can now go into your Morrowind Mods folder and everytime you want to add a mod manually to NMM that folder will open when you hit the green Plus sign in NMM because NMM remembers the last folder you used that way.

Sounds rather tedious and time consuming, but it allows you to uninstall the mod without issues through NMM should the mod turn out to be unsatisfactory

Or you could just use Mod Organizer 2, which allows you to easily rearrange folder structures without having to unpack and repack -- which should be standard practice for any mod manager.

It looks like it was packed wrong. The textures need to go into the correct folder, but that folder doesn't exist in the mod.

True, just create a folder named "Textures", put all the .dds files in and it should work just fine.

can't seem to get this to work, despite following the instructions in the readme. no error messages or anything. same ol' ugly potions still in game.

Can anyone help? I'm new at modding n' stuff. I've been able to make .esp mods work, just nothing purely texture-based.
I'm on steam, if it helps.

Steam redates the vanilla .bsa files to the date they were released on steam, not the original date they were made, and morrowind prioritizes newer files for some reason, so you need to use the morrowind code patch to redate them for you back to their 2002/2003 date otherwise they will keep overwriting non .esp mods.
