I'm running this as part of my enormous quest mod list and I'm impressed by how compatible and bug-free it is, especially for a mod from the 00s. Plays nice with AFFresh and a great many more mods on my install! Well written dialogue and journal. Early game vanilla in scope. Recommended if you want to add more things to do to Seyda Neen. Especially if you're playing an Argonian (underwater cave!)
Minor inconsistencies (Skull of the Beloved sends you to get... a heart? Does the Abaesen-Pulu mine even have small eggs?). If your mods heavily overhaul Samarys or Addamasartus you may need a patch.
i love this; seyda need mo quest. these are excellent little early-on activities and mini stories.
the only thing that bothers me - i cannot find the tanto in the anderes grotto mentioned by the armored npc by the lighthouse. I scoured the grotto with noclip/godmode/underwaterfog gone. I cannot find the damn thing.
i found it at the bottom of one of the cave areas, in a pretty open area really, not much plant life to make it hard to see, but for some reason my game is running with a reduced reach for my character so he couldn't get low enough to grab the darned thing.
I tracked down Nallaila in Addamusartus, but she won't take the potion of cure paralysis. I also don't think there was any fish to kill. Here are the mods I'm running, which probably are causing a conflict:
1. Vennin's Addamasartus Overhaul 2. Patch - Vennin's Addamasartus Overhaul and 1John418 Help a Khajiit reach the City of Good People 3. Tamriel Rebuilt Introduction Quest - Help a Khajiit reach the City of Good People 4. Jasmine 5. Blademeister (OpenMW)
Nallaila was in the new cave, but the quest doesn't progress.
Vennin's Addamasartus and my patch. Make a copy of Assamasartus. If the original mod put the new npc in the original Addamasartus you won't find them in Venin's overhauled cave.
The fish she was injured by is in a hidden cave. There is a big dark black round boulder on one of the pool's walls below the water line, across the water from where Nallalia is. When you approach that wall closely it displays its name. Go through it like you would a door and then basically start stabbing upwards as soon as you get through. The fish always starts above my character and it is massive so a few good stabs in the belly are needed to kill it. Best done wearing a breathing mask of some sort in case it takes a while. There is air in the cave, but the fish stops you going straight up.
You do not have to fight it, you can ignore the heck out of it with no consequences. Nallalia waits where you find her, until you give her the cure paralysis potion. You leave, and get attacked by a rat (and get attacked by it or its twin again if you had to leave the cave to get the potion(s) and then return [I always take two]). Nallalia never actually seems to leave the cave after being given the potion, but nobody cares anyway so the quest ends fine.
This mod reintroduces the "Who's there?" dialogue. I'm not sure this is proper way to fix the issue, but a plugin fix can be found here (MMH link). Download the file and extract It's me, you idiot.esp. Load it near the bottom of the load order.
This can be solved specifically for this mod, and any other mod that erroneously introduces the "Who's there?" dialogue, using TES3CMD to safely remove the dialogue. Discussion here explains in full.
I absolutely love this mods. The quests are fun, the NPCs are fun, the rewards are appropriate, and I have had no issues whatsoever. Honestly, this is one of my favorite quest mods.
Hi everyone. I just got this mod last night and I like it, but when I go to Daravame (the silt strider operator) there is no option to find out where Nallaila is. I don't know if the mod's author still checks this or if any of you guys might know where to go, that'd be great.
I found her in Addamusartus, bring a cure paralysis potion. I tried killing the Shark, but my companion kept hitting me and killing me during combat, it became such a chore that I decided to skip that. You don't need to get rid of it to complete the quest, just go back to the bottle seller once you've freed Nallalia. PS: The Silt operator did tell me where she was...
Not sure when someone will see this but I may be having an issue with The Message In The Bottle quest. I'm also using BTBs Improvements mod which IIRC changes potions a bit. I've found Nallaia and am now in search of a potion of cure paralyzation.I have yet to find one anywhere. My thoughts are that maybe BTBs mod removed the cure paralyzation potion and I'll never find it. Or maybe they're just pretty rare. Anyone have any advice? I'm a little stuck on this one.

excellent mod.
He disappears after everything resolved but his bottle stall and crates remain (in my game, anyway)

For now the two are incompatible.
