Ahh, I figured it out. I did suspected that it could be something about animations as I was using Axel's female anim, so I tried to disable it and at some point I pressed that little nice "fix animation errors" button. So it's all good now
I downloaded this years ago, when I was asking Emma as Fable2 about doing more mods. It remains, for me, the best companion mod ever made. Yes, there are several for Oblivion that have very extensive quest systems, and I really haven't played far into Vilja's quest---but there's something about Constance's pro-active approach to getting into trouble that's just a delight.
And for the record, I have yet to come across a mod by Emma that I haven't liked. This is simply the best, and one of the best around.
Constance is a very good companion mod. I like her personality and how she always finds some more funny trouble. I continue playing Morrowind because of mods like this one. She and Laura are my regular companions when I play this game. Dialogue is good and there is lots of it.
