How exactly do you make this work? I don't know if I downloaded the wrong version or not but it doesn't do 100% accuracy when I do this, then when I checked the logs I got this..

You downloaded the Iceborne Community Edition version, which is an optional file. Download the main file, it's made for non-Iceborne Community Edition.
My game was crashing using this too and after reading other comments Ive been lead to believe this mod in conjunction with better matchmaking + sharp plugin loader is causing the issue so I guess I will try to disable those while I use this mod ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Hello, the program suddenly started to have my client crash after running for ~1 min today I've made no noticeable change to my system, have the NET Framework installed, ran the program as admin, plenty of spare ram, set the folder as defender exception, and disabled defender anti-tamper altogether to check if it was the issue. I've also tried increasing the speed from 50ms to 200ms, but to no avail. Any idea whats wrong and/or suggestions of things i could try on my end to make it work ? Thanks
Edit : Defender might be the issue actually, checking windows update history made me realise a dictionnairy update happened yesterday Edit 2 : I managed to avoid crashing for roughly 2 minutes of use by disabling Defender altogether + lowering the scan speed to 1000ms, still no clue whats the cause, hopefully its not defender or steam. Also adding for refference that i use the Sharp Plugin Loader to enable BetterMatchmaking
Update : still crashing my game after a few minutes of use, i've also noticed the program auto-skips cutscenes, may or may not be the issue. I've ran tests by disabling any underclocking going on in my system, windows defender, online services all together, and monitored cpu and ram usage with no noticeable spike. Really not sure whats the issue at this point, but i cant reliably use the executable anymore :/
I still have to test disabling the Sharp Plugin Loader, i'll update whenever i do
Could you give me a list of all the mods you're using? Exclude any that are, shall I say, tasteful, as model swaps by all means shouldn't affect it too much.
Hello ! Thanks for the reply, i just ran tests without the Sharp Plugin Loader, and it definitely was the culprit. Ran the program at 200ms scan speed for a solid ~15 mins with no issues whatsoever. Its a prerequisite for Better Matchmaking, so either of these two might actually be at fault, but i suspect the loader more since i think its more susceptible to interact with memory reading. I also noticed that without using it, the program doesnt auto-skip cutscenes anymore if that helps.
Thanks again, and in the event that compatibility might be too hard to establish, which wouldnt bug me, dont stress it too much honnestly. Although that mod definitely is a life changer given how lively it makes multiplayer (main feature is that it removes the region lock), i can always turn it off and relog for big steamworks sessions !
I had the same issue as well. May i know what is the work around for getting the mod to work? I tried to uninstall sharppluginloader via the modmanager but my game wont even start.
By "without using it, the program doesn't auto-skip cutscenes", do you mean without using the 100% accuracy mode but with SPL and Better Matchmaking? Or without the Better Matchmaking and/or Sharp Plugin Loader? I'm gathering info to send over to the Sharp Plugin Loader devs.
Hello again, sorry for the delay Basically, while having SPL (and better matchmaking as a result) on, the ending cutscenes auto-skipped without any input while using the executable. I also had Skippable Cutscenes on at all times, which let you skip the steamwork cutscenes with the designated in-game keybind, but iirc autoskip never happened when using the steamworks manually
I think faulty memory or some other sort of instability is causing the crash, since i've noticed a lot of variance in the amount of time before a crash happens depending the delay set in the config file. I'm also 100% sure that available ressources/permissions werent the issue since ressources usage never reached critical level during my testings (i monitored them during the whole thing with rivatuner to make sure), and made sure to always grant the program admin privileges
My game hard crashes after like 30 seconds of using it, i dont have sharp plugin loader ive tried changing the speed of the combos and i have the NET framework. Can someone help me please?
Try running the game in Borderless Window with DirectX 12 API turned on. I can't get the game to crash even with SPL loaded and I'm going on a limb here with this advice.
For anyone using Sharp Plugin Loader, I was crashing while using 100%, but after removing the plugin it worked without issues. I would just remove the plugin whenever I use steamworks and just reinstall after I'm done. Kind of tedious, but definitely worth it imo.
Updated the mod description with this information. Thank you so much for figuring this out! I should've made the link between the release of that and the uptick in reports of it crashing when using 100% accuracy.
Thanks for the great mod.This mod uses the keyboard to control Steam Works, but I would like to see an option to use the buttons on the DirectInput controller to control Steam Works.Because if I use the steam controller to control the desktop, I can play Steam Works without losing control of my computer.
I don't believe that could be done. I keep this maintained for updates, but my admittedly limited coding knowledge tells me it'd require installing or hooking into a external virtual controller driver, i.e the one used by DS4Windows and sending it through that, but that would also prevent using controller in MHW period as it'd take that one, though that is speculation since I know a lot of games (MHW included) doesn't care about what "port" is sending inputs, as long as it gets inputs.
What do you mean? It should work on the latest update. If it's ICE (Iceborne Community Edition) I am not aware of any updates that have happened but I will go check. Edit: ICE is still on 314017, same version as the current one.
