I don't know how to fix this and get it to work. I think the overlay mod is crashing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and still nothing

Remember that the best way to get help is to provide as much info as possible, send configs, logs, screenshots and record videos. I can't help if you say nothing.

      Requirements:
      1) REFramework (v1.1.1 or above)
      2) REFramework Direct2D (v0.2.1 or above)

Final path to the mod should be like this: MonsterHunterRise/reframework/autorun/MHR_Overlay.lua

Hi, I too have the same error, however I have put the REFramework dinput8.dll at the root and the D2D REFramework reframewok folder at the root, and added the file: MonsterHunterRise/reframework/autorun/MHR_Overlay.lua
      picture

      Thanks for the help?

Are use sure REFramework Direct2D is installed correctly? It should be in a plugins folder: MonsterHunterRise/reframework/plugins/reframework-d2d.*

Bit late but I wanted to say, thank you.
This is indeed the fix to the issue.
Reframework installs properly through Vortex, however reframework 2d doesn't.
So manual installs in this case are kinda necessary for MH: Rise.
