This most likely is due to Reshade 5.0 being kinda bugged with MHR as of rn. Try using the latest 4.9 version and see if that fixes the graphical glitches.
You may want to try debloating your gpu drivers! I was having the issue constantly but was able to have it go away completely by uninstalling all previous drivers and clean installing the newest one. The issue began for me after installing the latest nvidia driver but like I said, clean installing it after uninstalling all previous ones is what fixed it for me.
Just for those who have the same issue, I can confirm that at least in my case, updating the graphic card (RTX3080 in my case) driver fixed the glaring flags bug.
?I am using reshade 4.5.4 and when following your steps, it seems in this version i have to pick specific .fx files to enable for your preset. Do you know which ones i should turn on to get the same results?
Thank you, this is probably my biggest complaint with Rise visually, the cartoony global illumination makes the obvious sacrifices made for the NSW limitations worse instead of hiding them away unifying the colors, this will do for now.
Thank you for your work. I am not sure if this is a new addition to ReShade, but you can adjust your instructions to download your preset first and during the ReShade installation tell ReShade to use your preset. It gets what is needed automatically that way and no double clicking stuff.
Great suggestion, turns out this is a new feature in the new major version reshade v5.0 and I was still on the old v4.9. I have tested this method of installation and can confirm it works and is much simpler. I will update the instructions when I get the chance, thank you!
its the Ammy costume. you get it from completing the low rank 3 star event quest "Rising Sun!?" you'll have to grind that quest enough times to craft 1 piece of the layered costume, you automatically receive the full set after crafting 1 item.
Yes, you will see some new and more detailed shadows on your character, and around objects in close proximity to each other in the environment. All very natural looking in my testing. Let me know if you notice something bizarre.

so basically off.
edit:
looked into config itself:
RT_FADE_DEPTH=0.000000,0.500000
maybe you meant 0.5 solely? (default is 0.3)
Ty again!
