First, start the game, then run the cheat engine program, open the mgsvtpp.exe process in the cheat engine, open this table file "Fix for game crash.CT" and check the "FIX CRASH" box.
After this, the game will not crash to the desktop after hovering the cursor over various corrupted bases.
After this, you can close the cheat engine program WITHOUT TURNING OFF the "fix crash" checkbox.
The fix will still work until you exit the game.
