Hello, awesome mod btw, however maybe someone could help me, is there a possibility to make this work with steam input (controller triggers set as Lbutton and Rbutton, but is not working), I am afraid is not possible due to the way the triggers work, but I have no idea about autohotkey and the triggers axis possibilities.
I also would like this. I've been trying to get another ahk script or a mapping program like AntiMicroX to work, but I'm not sure what I'm doing. I'll let you know if/when I figure it out.
Great mod, it's honestly about time that someone made this - but is there a way to activate it on controller, or do I need to use K&M for this mod to work?
If you want to activate it with controller. there is a way, but its a little clunky, I use DS4windows to convert my DS4 controller into a xbox controller as far as my PC is concerned, i have bound a swipe up on the touchpad to tap the caps lock key, that way a quick flick up with your thumb allows you to switch between fire modes. with all the other controls mapped as though they were the same as a xbox controller (just with a press on the bottom left of the touchpad to open idroid, and press on bottom right to open pause menu, but thats just cos getting to start and select on a ps4 pad is annoying)
Hi, I was recommended to this modpage from another modder, and I had a request for a mod.
Similar to this mod, in a sense, I was wondering if it would be possible to make a mod that simply fixes the issue with semi-auto weapons being fired in full auto when playing on keyboard and mouse. One of my favorite weapons to use is the Geist P3, however when I hold the fire button for even a short amount of time, the cycle rate may make it fire more than one round on a single press, and holding down the button will make it fire until the entire mag (and a decent chunk of suppressor durability) is gone.
This issue does not occur with the 3-round burst conversion of the weapon, but I prefer to have control over every round I fire in certain situations during the gameplay. I have considered downloading this mod at one point to mitigate this issue, however I decided not to as I did not want to go through and install the Autokey program as it all seemed a little too much for a simple bug fix the original game is experiencing (researching this issue has led me to find out that this is a common issue for anyone playing on kb&m).
Please let me know your thoughts on if it would be possible, any response would be greatly appreciated!
P.S. Thank you for the mod being available in the first place. I understand beggars can't be choosers, but I'm fine with dealing with alternatives than going what may be the easier route, that being your mod here. Thank you nonetheless, as I'm sure for most (and would agree if the installation method were slightly easier, though I understand why and how the mod works in the first place) that this QoL mod is definitely a must-have. Keep up the amazing work!
I'm not sure I understand your question. This mod supports only full auto and semi auto (one shot per click).
Do you mean if it's possible to fire in bursts, like 3 bullets per click? If that's what you mean, I don't know how to script that, but it's possible. Maybe I'll add this option in the near future and I'll let you know.
I mean, how rapidly you can shoot when on semi? At what rate can you click so that every single click results in a shot. Say, if I click at rate of 300 clicks/minute for one minute, would it result in 300 shots?
I see what you mean. I think that has to do with the firerate of the weapons in some game file parameters. But what do you want exactly? Because with the assault rifles if you are on semi auto and you're clicking fast enough you can almost achieve the fire rate of auto.
