  • Great Urban-Pocalypse Guidelines

    For anyone insane or dumb enough to complete the \"Great Urban-Pocalypse\", there is a prize to win for completing a campaign with 
    GUP activated. Winners will get to request something to be made in YARW for either themselves or as something to be added in general.

    Guideline for what's appropriate:
    - Valid Campaigns: Main Campaign, Kestrel Lancers, Dragons Gambit or Solaris Showdown.
    - Cannot set the artillery settings below defaults.
    - No cheat mods or cheat gear derived from any mod. If unsure, best to avoid it. Examples: Zatara (this should be obvious), YAEC-R's
    XTRO gear, YAWE (Unless a YARW version is made), mods that super-buff cantina upgrades etc.
    - No cheat settings in Mod options, game settings OR YAML Save settings. Basic...

  • YARW Troubleshooting.

    If you see any mention to fix your mod-list in game, then you have not followed the listed requirements + incompatibilities. YARW checks to see if the following INCOMPATIBLE mods are installed: YAW, YAW-Addon + Fixes, YAWC, YAWC-Addon + Fixes, YAOW, BB-3015, Clan Invasion, Re-balanced & Expanded Weapons, Scary Tanks, some Mech-Upgrade mods such as Better Cantina and many more. There is also a secondary check to see if the minimum mod requirements are met. PLEASE don't ignore the bad mod-list detected message if it appears in game. It being there and this guide is to help users have a fun and stable MW5-Modded experience.

  • New mechanics and update on compatibility.

    YARW 5.2 will be a substantial update with an entirely new mechanic. Through armor criticals (AKA: TACs or Floating Crits). Do not worry though, there will be a Mod-Option settings to tune things to player preferences. While on the surface this as a new mechanic for MW5 may seem like a small addition, it does have significant potential to shake up the gameplay. A single stray AC/2 round now has the chance to erupt an ammo bin and kill an Atlas in one shot (Albeit, very unlikely chance).
    The main reason this mechanic exists is to fulfil the last main ammo types not seen in YARW yet, Armor-Piercing Autocannon rounds & Tandem SRM Warheads. However, TACs will also be applied to a few other weapons but mechanically they will all work a bit differently.

  • YARW 4.9 and RMG 1.5 Updates

    I'm making this article post just to inform y'all about future updates for Yet Another Revamped Weapons and Revamped Machine Guns (RMG).
    YARW:

    Rotary Autocannons are getting re-worked one last time and with this, the addition of IS RAC-10/20s. RISC RACs will be their own thing and include all autocannon classes. With that, some weapon asset names are changing so please be aware that this will "delete" any weapons made invalid. List is short but basically boils down to the current RISC RACs (Same applies with ammo). Some of the RAC-10/20s also will have their tonnage adjusted to better match new standards.
