Hello, for all the windows store users of MW 5 follow this guide to activate this awesome mod from mods manager:
1. Goto mod folder (can be opened from main MW5 main menue). 2. Create a new directory with a suitable name for this mod and open this new folder. 3. create a subfolder named Paks and copy the MW5Mercs-Z001-BetterMechDescriptions.pak file of this mod into it. 4. create a subfolder Resources and copy any Icon128.png file from an other mod into it. 5. ceate a new textfile with following name: mod.json and open this file with any texteditor 5.1 copy following text in the mod.json and save it
love this mod for the lore. thing i noticed - the black knight partisan desc says ferro-fibrous but it looks like it actually doesnt have this in mech5
Hello. Your mod introduces a new Folder called Source. Your instructions do not mention WHERE to install this new folder. Does this new Source folder get added to the Paks folder? Why not tell us where to install the new folder?
I can't seem to be able to find the mech descriptions for mechs that I already own. Is there a way to see it? Maybe I'm not looking in the right place.
"Market" tab at the top, then switch from the small "Market" tab on the left to your "Inventory" tab. Now you can browse your "Active Hangar" and "Cold Storage". View a description by selecting that 'Mech, same as on the Market.

6. Refresh mods list in MW5 Mod manager and activate the new mech description mod :)
