Colithiel - I would look for Bobberts Co-Op Unlocked it is a far better MOD and seems to work with Dragons Gambit (at least I have been using it with it and don't seem to have an issue yet).
Per Cougar's update in the steam workshop (I've quoted below), I don't think any updates to the mod are planned. They reenabled it as a stopgap until Bobbert's mod is updated.

that individual already has permissions .. it say Mech Lab permitted (or mech access permitted something to that effect). And it Allows you to Restrict their access (implying they already have access, which they do :) )... click restrict and ask them what happens.
This menu was here for vanilla, and iirc it controls their access to the "battlemechs" screen. After double checking, my friend does have all the buttons, but they have some issues. Conflict zones and industrial hubs don't show on their starmap, they can't see items for sale in the equipment market, can't upgrade weapons with YAML. Cantina shows up as completely blacked out, though we do have a mod that does modify their values. However, the barracks and mech markets work fine.
I see, thanks for the explanation. With all due respect I think being able to at least purchase equipment with a permission unlock would be very useful, as checking markets and coordinating what to buy is a time consuming effort.
Hey Xer I have not had any issues using this mod along with the updated YAML... I can't say I have tried it with that many different mods or using that utility. I think two others may have had issues with that utility and MODS packaged on the latest version of the editor.
It seems to work fine on a new save, but adding it to a existing playthrough has the above issues for the other players. :( Even playing a mission or two bugs out.
Have the same issue as well, only we even tried doing a new game, and we still can't see anything in Equipment, but it's just Equipment. Mech Market, Mechlab, and even the Transmissions are viewable. We have YAML, and more or less pretty much the same mods that we had before when it was working, however, that was with "Co-Op Unlocked" by BobbertModdert, not this one. Not sure how this mod does things differently.
@Cougarcay121 Yo thanks for keeping the co-op dream alive for the MW5 community. I have finally came back to MW5 after seeing all the crazy mods people have created since launch and also 4 amazing looking DLCs. My buddy and I (who I originally created the co-op tabs unlock mod for) are really enjoying the game this time around and we are currently using this mod while we await a fix to Bobbart's Co-Op Unlocked mod. I tried to reverse engineer Bobbarts mod to see if I could just fix the ESC menu bug, but unfortunately UE won't let me even look at cooked uassets even after unpaking them. Not sure if you know of anywhere to get the source code for Bobbarts work (if he even allows mods of his mods) but if so I'd be willing to take a look into it, although in that case you probably would know more about it than me. Either way wanted to drop a note saying thanks for keeping the MW5 co-op spirit alive.
Hey Tak, if I recall your mod was my original inspiration :) ... Yeah I threw this out there just so there would be something for people to co-op with, while we wait for Bobbarts schedule to free up. I offered to help with updating his CO-Op Unlocked also but no answer ... I tried to reverse engineer a different mod at some point in the past and had 0 luck either. Unless they post the uncooked file I have never found a way to "uncook" files. I am not aware of anyplace he may have placed his source material.
It's not pretty but it was working when I tested just after RoR was released. Bobberts Co-Op Unlocked is a much better MOD; but this one will do in a pinch until that one gets updated. I was thinking about releasing a temp one in the interim until that one gets updated that will at least just turn on the tabs again (personally I was never able and still am not able to get some things working that Bobbert did (Market Items, Star Map icons and conflict zones.. etc ... he/she must know the engine far better than I do).. but for anyone needing one to get by this one should work and maybe I will do an updated version compiled on the latest code.
Causing a fatal error for me. Even as the only mod. Not sure if it's because of the 3rd DLC. Hopefully you can check it out. My friends love this mod. I am always hosting so I never notice. LOL. But they adore it.
it does work with up to date MW5 andYAML, the issue you might face is when you travel to another system it will grey out the starmap tab, all you need to do when that happens is go the the home tab and enter the starmap there.
I could not get the 1.06 to work but the 1.5.4 works. The 1.5.4 is the newer file if you look at the dates. it just looks like the 1.06 is newer (maybe it was v1.0.6?).

How does one give permissions? I do not see any buttons on here, with another player selected.
