Faction Variants is an addon for the YAML series of mods that adds apocryphal faction-specific mech variants to the game, to increase the variety of spawns and to populate loadouts with weapons and equipment that are underrepresented in the base game.
Requirement - you can use YAW instead, but many loadouts will be invalid.

Updated the mechs from 1.0 to ensure that they aren't spawning for people who don't have the correct DLCs, so that PGI doesn't eat me. Added 22 new variants for the Musclebound Myomer Faction FLE-MBM LCT-MBM JVN-MBM1 JVN-MBM2 JR7-MBM ASN-MBM CDA-MBM HBK-MBM1 HBK-MBM2 WVR-MBM CHP-MBM QKD-MBM CPLT-MBM TDR-MBM ARC-MBM WHM-MBM MAD-MBM CGR-MBM1 CGR-MBM2 BLR-MBM BNC-MBM AS7-MBM Updated Black Inferno mechs to spawn for Comstar. Turns out the games database doesn't even recognize the Word of Blake faction, and the Word of Blake just uses Comstar spawns in all mods, so will just have to deal with Comstar getting Black Inferno spawns to ensure Word of Blake gets them

This mod adds mech variants that are designed to give minor factions their own identity, to diversify spawns, and to increase the spawns of underutilized weapon variants, such as burst-fire autocannons or stream LRMs. This mod will eventually add variants to all of the mercenary and solaris factions.
