It's been a few months since I played it, but I think there may have been some unvoiced lines at Apollo's which makes me think Kaidan *did* remember his romance with my MShep in LE3. I feel as though I remember thinking the Apollo's scene played out ok, and didn't bother me too much. But I really don't remember the details - sorry. I can say for me personally it didn't feel super immersion-breaking to play the MShep + Kaidan romance in LE3, since most of Kaidan's romantic dialogue re: MShep was in the game already. I really enjoyed my LE3 playthrough even without the LE3 mod.
But I am waiting for the LE3 mod so I can have my FemShep romance Tali . . .
There's one for original edition ME3, but if you're looking for one for LE ME3, it doesn't exist, and possibly never will. We've been waiting for more than two years at this point. Apparently the file changes made as part of the LE have added significant challenges, but since Rondeeno appears on the Nexus basically at random, and never actually offers updates, what difficulties he's having, how anyone might help, or if it's even still being worked on are complete unknowns.
From what I've heard, The Ashely romance will carry over to ME3 BUT she'll refer to Shep as a male, there will be unvoiced dialogue, and some romance scenes will be missing, etc. A person in the comments section for Same-Gender Romances for LE2 recently answered this. I personally have never romanced her, so I can't say first hand.
I love this mod so much! Whether I'm going to choose a same gender romance or not, it adds so much to the game! I was NOT expecting the conversations to feel so different - regardless of romance option the general banter and conversations just seem to flow more smoothly now.
Also, how is Harkin even MORE creepy and revolting when "flirting" with M!Shep?! Ugh he's just vile.

I´m wondering the same, i installed it anyway, at that Point i was already on Noveria. But so far i have no Romance Dialogs :( So i´m guessing this needs to be very early in the Game in order to work...
Personally, I would never seriously romance Ashley because I can't stand her racism, but this mod also happens to make her be the one to meddle with the beacon, which my boy Kaiden would never be foolish enough to do, and causing us to fail a crucial mission because she interfered with a superior officer's duties is as good a reason as any to nuke her on Virmire, so thanks for this mod, OP. :)
I'm very new to modding. This is the first time I've tried modding a game, so I have pretty much no idea what I'm doing. I thought I'd done everything right, but apparently I haven't. The beacon scene didn't work. It was Ashley who triggered the beacon, not Kaidan. I have no idea if it's just the beacon scene or if I can still romance Kaidan later. Just figured I would ask people who probably know better what's up than me.
As much as this mod is interesting, I think that being forced to pick the "paragon" dialogue from the start during conversation is breaking some of the immersion when playing a renegade Shepard that still wants to engage into a romance.
And if I may suggest, is it possible to get a separate file for side characters only ?
I can't be sure, but as my experience with ME3 from the original trilogy goes, I think that's how the game itself damands you romance someone: by being nice to them. So I THINK this mod simply followed the vanilla rule...
When I play renegade I usually do what I call "tough love", the vanilla game (ME1/LE1 at least) allows you to flirt / romance with the LIs even with some of the lower dialogue on the wheel until you have to lock-in the romance with the upper dialogue of course. From what I tested, this mod removes this option and you're forced to only pick the upper dialogue in order to romance someone.
I see it isn't compatible with non-english voices. Do anyone knows what would happen if you still try the mod with non-english voices? Would it just make romance dialogues silent or could it breaks the game? I'm only interested in the beacon scene honestly but I supposed you have to install the main mod to use the option.

U1 So, I was curious and tried it out (with M!Shep). If anyone is wondering how would the game react if you use this mod with non-english vers., here's what I can tell:
The beacon scene works (nice!)
After the beacon scene, Kaidan appears but it's Ashley's voice lines (ah)
You can't talk with Kaidan after Eden Prime ; Can't flirt with Kaidan
For the ambient flirts in the Citadel docking bay, it will always be Ashley, even if the romance flag with Kaidan has been manually actived
To sum things up; if you just want the beacon scene for rp purpose it kind of partially works. If you want to romance Kaidan with M!Shep/Ashley with F!Shep, you won't be able. By the way, if anyone has a better method to get the beacon scene than using this mod, I'm open to suggestions. U2 So, I kept playing and surprisingly, I could flirt with Kaidan. Did you install saving the same-gendered VS from the beacon? If so, did that happen? If it did, the mod is definitely working.

It's when Kaidan asks "Do you make a habit of getting this personal with everyone?" You HAVE to chose the top option "No, Just you." Shep will say "I didn't say I did this with the whole crew. We'll talk again." Then Kaidan will respond "I'll need some time to process that, Commander, but yeah...I'd like that." And bam, romance initiated. Earlier in that same conversation, there is an option to say his point of view of space is cute. I always choose that too, but don't think it's required. I do know, however, that choosing "No, just you" during your first conversation after a main mission is what triggers the romance. If you didn't pick that option, the romance will not start.

Edit: Never mind, found the issue myself. For some reason, the ASI loader wasn't installed or some such nonsense. Everything works now.
