Updated the mod since I uploaded the wrong version which Mod Manager could not open. My bad. Sorry to those affected. Now everything should be operational. I must sleep...
I haven't play to ME3 and didn't have this installed during Jacob's mission but I'm not too far to go back yet. is this a bug that is game-breaking in some way... like for example; some character doesn't show up if he should, or it affects the story somehow? Or is it only some dialogue that is wrong?
Not that game breaking. It also depends on your choice. If I remember well, ME3 will default to Ronald being alive and taken by the Alliance. You don't see him, but Jacob will mention it on Gellix.
Do you notice Ronald's face model? His head doesn't look like a single piece, I mean a part of his face looks like it's attached to a generic head model. You can see the outline of his face just below his forehead. Is this something you can fix?
Has this fix been included in the Unofficial LE2 Patch by now? Some information whether an individual fix has been rendered obsolete for people who use the big patch may be useful. Finding one particular fix in such a long list can be a bit challenging.
unfortunately i installed this while in my me3 playthrough :( is it possible to get instructions how to change the flag manually for me3 with save editor? thanks!
I will, but I thought you all people would enjoy the stuff being released as I work on it, instead of waiting months for me to be done with everything.
You can for the moment batch install all the mods with the mod manager if you create a list with just one click for installation.
Unfortunately not. This fixes it through the mission dialogue, so it's only fixed there. But if you want, I can offer to fix your savegame if you send it to me and you tell me what was your choice.
Can you remind us where in 3 it gets talked about? I know that I choose middle option in 2 so I could hear what Legion says (companions only chirp on the middle, neutral resolution, leave him in the Hell he made), but next time on the ship Jacob is talking as if we picked his father up.
Exactly, on the ship that's where you can notice the bug. It's mention on 3 on Gellix, when talking with Jacob on the ex Cerberus scientists quest. You can talk about his father and no matter what you did he always believed the same outcome which now I can't believe for sure which one it defaulted to. In essence since no flag is set in vanilla 2, it picks the path for players who did not import a save. By playing with this mod, the game will pick the right dialogue on 3, as well as on the debrief on 2.
Thanks for doing all this fixing, it's really appreciated! It seems they only fixed the radio broadcasts in 2 from all the wrongly flagged quests and dialogues. Finally reflect good outcomes for Sirta and Consort, I think some others were restored... and that Volus ship salesman now has half a dozen lines. Anything else you noticed?
From what I saw the news fixes actually come from them being fixed in 1. They changed nothing to the news in 2. Which makes it hard to try to recreate in the original game. Importing from 1 to 2 works differently as from 2 to 3 which just copies everything over.
And you're welcomed! More fixes will be coming. I am doing some between breaks of porting a major mod that sometimes gives me a headache. So, changing project helps. And I know these fixes are good QOL stuff you all can enjoy.
Hmm, interesting! Because they didn't fix Conrad (still sets both flags), and Toombs still thinks you were on Akuze even if you aren't Sole Survivor, but flags for Consort and two morality quests were updated?.. There was always a flag on using the trinket consort gave you on Eletania, but AFAIK it did nothing... and it's a separate thing from completing her quest too. Headache! xD Good luck with mod porting.
Well, Baldur's Gate and other Infinity Engine games were remastered by not-Bioware lol, and they actually fixed stuff it seems. But Icewind Dale 2 code is missing and it had DDraw issues with transparency so...
I wonder what limbo is first Star Wars: KOTOR at? Second got much needed remaster but last time I tried playing original KOTOR on Steam it had fonts that didn't scale and FMVs using outdated codec that changed resolution. Even widescreen patches with UI that used hex editing and third party program (yes), managed to have fonts needing a magnifying glass.
I had to play it at 720p and all pixely and like lol. While phone version is actually remastered and good (!). At least Mass Effect and Dragon Age are playable on PC with proper resolution support and UI scaling, as messy as they are.
Unfortunately if you played through it already without the mod, it won't be fixed. But for future playthroughs, no more misremembering... There really is a bad case of amnesia in Mass Effect going on with all these characters forgetting what they did....

And it always did ever since the patch was launched.
