F.A.Q.: I can't access the apartment, what is going on?

    1. Ensure you have Extended Galaxy Map LE2 (BETA) installed WITH Mass Effect 1 Clusters Enabled option checked.

    2. You must have played the Pinnacle Station DLC and finished Ahern's challenge, which grants you the Apartment and import the savegame with the Unofficial LE2 Patch installed which fixes the bad imports from that DLC. Alternatively, you can save-edit your ME2 savegame and check Bool 5609. Issues that arise from blindly tampering with a savegame in any other ways will not be supported.

    3. Ensure you have played at least 2 main quests after acquiring the Normandy. Main quests are any that end with a Mission Summary screen, such as recruitment, loyalty or N7 missions. Hub quests do NOT count against this internal timer the game has.

    4. After having played 2 main quests, Ahern will send you an ingame mail. Read it and you will be granted landing access to your well-deserved (or cheated) apartment.

Please if you have bugs to submit, ALWAYS attach with your comment a diag as explained here down below.
Enjoy the mod and hopefully a bug free experience!

    I imported a Me1 playthrough with a completed a pinnacle station mission.
I have the boolean checked from ME1, I have Extended Galaxy Map LE2 with ME1 and ME3 clusters enabled, I have the Unofficial LE2 Patch installed.
But yet I am not getting email.
I tried disabling and reenabling the mod and it still didn't work.
Here is the diagnostic file ME3Tweaks Mod Manager Log Viewer

Since you didn't attach a savegame (it's fine!) I need to ask how far in the game are you. The mail is only delivered after you play 2 *main* quests once you get access to the Normandy.

I'm going to need a savegame to investigate further. Feel free to upload to your desired cloud service or submit a new log choosing the option to attach a savegame.

Update scratch that here is link to my saved file on a mega upload.
      https://mega.nz/file/BdgjFBZa#I_rSH30xeTLcKQuIU_FPMTjqGxI5jMypvVPi5eXlUQU
Also I have played a few more missions since and I still haven't received the email.
I was hoping you could figure out the problem based on the diagnostics report I had in the original post.

The diagnostics are always useful, but in this case nothing wrong was being shown, which is why I needed the savegame in the end.

I have checked your latest save and your earliest one and neither of them have bool 5609 checked. That is why you are not receiving the mail. According to the saved plot data you did not earn the Apartment in ME1.

I'm not sure if that is an issue with data not storing correctly when Ahern gifted it to you in 1, or if your savegame was imported without the patch, or if you removed the bool at some point.

In any case, clicking it will make the mail trigger (you may need to exit and enter the Normandy again so the global routines, which also handle mailing, run again).

That's so weird because I went back into Mass Effect 1 and checked the Galaxy map. I verified that the apt was available and then started and finished the Ilos mission.
And before that I made other changes to the Me1 file to ensure the right career was imported but to no avail it didn't work.
I guess I will have to try the boolean check.

Update the boolean check worked thanks for your help

Great mod, straight up awesome. Very many options for relaxation and fun, straight so and want to be stuck in this apartment and do not leave it. I want to cook and at the same time to rejoice with LI, I want to sit together and lie down, and dance, and watch the background from the window. One action is probably a pity lacking, it is together to watch the monitor(Movie) and sit at a table.

Very grateful for this mod and all involved in this creation, thanks for the opportunity to spend with LI ( I have it Tali'Zorah vas Normandy)

    I apologize for my English.

I was able to spend my last moments on Mass Effect 2 cooking for Tali, dancing with her and, above all, making myself comfortable next to her on the sofa with the TV right behind and its superb "Blasto" program x'D

Thank you so much for this mod, I'm now moving on to Mass Effect 3

Thanks again for the revised translation! I am very happy you were able to enjoy some peace and resting time with Tali before moving on to the next chapter.

Feel free to share screenshots if you have them! 💜

The rest of this mod is really great but it's a must install for that Blasto video alone. That was hilarious.

Sorry for the delay in replying, but for the moment, I will not be porting a new version for 3. I can however recommend Scottina's version for MELE3 which you can find here.

This is a really great addition to ME2, but the real time lighting is a serious problem on the steam deck. It struggles to maintain a solid 40fps and with the recent optimization of the ME1 LE Pinnacle Station mod, it really is a serious outlier in performance across the trilogy on the steam deck.

Unfortunately I do not have a Steamdeck to test; I am however curious about what's the regular or expected framerate while playing MELE2 in it so I can investigate potential ways to further optimize the mod in the future.

Hey, thanks for all your awesome work. I just realized I never got the email from Ahern. I have the boolean checked from ME1, I have Extended Galaxy Map LE2 with ME1 and ME3 clusters enabled, I have the Unofficial LE2 Patch installed, and I've progress to just before the Omega 4 Relay. https://me3tweaks.com/modmanager/logservice/logviewer?logid=569e07eeaee1dfcbe239701ed2125a8b

This is so strange. It seems the mod manager did not run the "email merge" task during installation for you. However, you should be able to trigger it again via the Manage Target button. Search for this mod name and hit Disable. Close the window and the manager should run some tasks. Afterwards, go back to Manage Target and Enable the mod again. This time make sure "merging emails" shows among the tasks run by the Manager. It should be fairly fast.

Hi, thanks for the amazing mod. Genuine question: how does it differ from the existing "Pinnacle Station Apartment" mod?

Have you read the description of this mod? It explains what been changed compared to LE1 version (judging from the screenshots the other mod ports it unchanged) and what has been added by this mod. Also check the video of this mod and you will see what kind of new interactions it adds.

I have read the description, I see zero mentions of the other mod apart from credit to the author. So I guess this one is simply better. But it's not explained anywhere.

Without a diagnostic with a savegame attached, I can't guess what is wrong in your setup.

That said, have you checked Shepard's mail?

My bad, I totally forgot I had set up the email to be delivered after 2 main (not side) quests are played, to give time for Ahern to hear back from you. Just keep playing a bit and he will contact you. I will make sure to update the description. My apologies!

Go to "Raw Plot" and type in 5609 and select the bool that has "Has_Unlocked_Apartment"

Oh, nice! More places for my Shepard to cuddle up with Tali!

One question, in addition to a medigel station, does it also include a way to stockup on Heavy Weapon ammo? Although, I'm not sure why Shep would have Heavy Weapon ammo just laying around in his apartment, but I thought I'd ask!

No, I did not include a hidden cache of power cells within the apartment. I could see to add one in a future update, though. I feel it totally slipped my mind because I worked comparing from the ME1 version and I don't think it had a grenades dispenser? 🤔

Anyways, yes! A place to be quiet and chill with Tali, away from prying eyes! Tali was fun to work with, as I made sure to add a specific detail for her in one of the interactions 😄

Since I had to update to fix a bug, you can now find Power Cells to stockup on Heavy Weapon ammo. I guess Shepard can now go test their nuclear weapons on the backyard 😂

Just finished replaying LE2, and this was great! And not just because I got to watch the Intai'sei Sunset with Tali, And I love that specific detail you added to one of her interactions!

And thanks for adding the power cells! Not only are they good credits (Which I may have quicksaved and tried to make credits by salvaging the power cells and medi-gel), but thanks to the Modern Weapons Pack, I ended up using heavy weapons more this playthrough.
