This mod is now part of LE3 Community Patch, so if you're using the patch (and you really should), my mod is redundant.

Do you know that short piece of banter between Aria and Shepard on Omega, when they mention Mordin while going through the Gozu district? Many people may have problems with the banter to trigger, so without unnecessary details (check section below for these), this mod will make that banter trigger always, as long as LE2 save was imported for LE3 playthrough, the way it (most probably) should have been from the start. Should work for all languages.

TECHNICAL DETAILS

This particular banter has a reputation of being somewhat ellusive and for good reason - I myself had it only once during my 11 (yes, eleven...) playthroughs of the trilogy. It bugged me for years, so I decided to get to the bottom of this or die trying. Fortunately, thanks to some great people (check Special Thanks section) I have found out why it didn't trigger those other 10 times - finally, after all those years, my curiosity has been sated (on that matter, at least).
Long story short, there are some variable checks made for the banter to trigger, the first one checking a particular bool from LE2. That bool is true if player has quit Mordin recruitment mission, but the thing is it's true ONLY if it's done by conversation with Mordin - if player tells Mordin they want to look around a bit more and then quit the mission by the clinic's door or pressing F button, bool remains false. So, banter in LE3 Omega DLC doesn't trigger because of that "decision" in LE2. The bool is probably checked to make sure player knows who Mordin is, and that Aria knows Mordin, but there's a second variable check before the banter to find if LE2 save was imported. Given that one can't finish LE2 without recruiting Mordin, that check is utterly unnecessary and the only thing it does is blocking that short banter for many players. So I changed the first check - instead of checking that faulty bool, it now checks a different one (if Mordin recruitment was finished, which shouldn't cause any problems and be correctly set to true). Of course I left LE2 import check untouched, although that first check makes it kinda redundant.

INSTALLATION

Drag and drop into ME3Tweaks Mod Manager, import and hit Apply button.

COMPATIBILITY

My mod modifies only one file, BioD_Omg004_520GozuDistP.pcc. For the moment this file isn't modified by LE3 Community Patch, but it will be overwritten by any other mod that modifies that file and has higher mount priority than my mod (which is 4554).
